Besides a grossly irresponsible team (Wild), Suter and Parise are going to have roughly the same $$ offer from god knows how many hockey teams. It'll be interesting to see what are the extras that factor into their ultimate decisions.

Here is why the Flyers make my brain hurt - it seemed abundantly clear to just about everyone that we should have been trying to sign a proven veteran backup goalie who can serve as a calming influence for Bryz if/when things go haywire next season. We have the money, we have the need and there are several FA options available.

Instead, we sign Leighton who similarly to Bob, struggles when he's not getting regular minutes and other than his fluke playoff run, has never played an NHL caliber level game. Great move Homer, keep that goalie circus going strong!

And they did it right when free agency started lol. Maybe they're going for a big name, but the fact that this was the first news of the day was hilarious.

Yeah, I don't know much about Glass but I liked what Asham brought to the table, minus his inexcusable playoff actions.

Bjustard though is a 6'5 center with the makings of a great power forward. This year he has 42 pts in 40 games.
