At this rate, Scott Howson will be the new Oilers GM in five years, give or take.
Odd timing to fire Tambellini now in this season, not like a new GM can make big trades to make the team any better, but good riddance regardless. A monkey could've GM'd that team to where they are now Tank for a few seasons, get great picks, and do little else to build the team.
Reimer looks like the starter tonight.
Sorry for the late response, been busy at work.
And as Jonsson said, Lupul is a gametime decision...personally I hope he sits until saturday.
#Leafs Leo Komarov on being called a 'pest': "You can call me whatever you want. But my name is Leo and I'm a hockey player."
hahahaha
Jesus Christ. I wish I won some strange lottery and I got to be EA's CEO. Things I would do:
*Sports games come out only once every three years. Next gen Madden in 2013. Next gen NBA in 2014. Next gen NHL in 2015. Etc.. You will be run out of the company by your Board of Governors and shareholders just for suggesting this.
*Get rid of the bloat in sports games. Remove HUT completely from the NHL games. I'd say remove the Be-A-Pro / EASHL mode too but too many people like that. They make a shit ton of money off selling HUT packs and boosts and shit.
*Free roster updates until the next game comes out. Pay a small amount of money to continue getting roster updates if you decide to keep your old game. HAHAHAH yeah right.
*Servers for older sports games will NEVER go down. Requires money
*No microtransactions. No grinding. The grinding required to earn attribute bonuses in EASHL is designed to encourage micro purchases. Why spend hours scoring 100 goals in a season OFFLINE to upgrade your ONLINE player when you can drop 2 dollars on the EASHL upgrade? Ugh. Good luck with that.
You will give birth to the anti-tabris. For he will be the one that will save us all.
'You beat up a taxi cab driver'This could be interesting....

SECOND STAR PHIL KESSEL, RW, TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
Kessel led the NHL with five goals and tied for the League lead with seven points in three games. He scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist in a 4-3 triumph over the New York Rangers April 8. Kessel then recorded both of Toronto's goals in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers April 10. He capped the week by posting his 13th multi-point game of the season (1-12) in a 5-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens April 13. The 25-year-old Madison, Wis., native has played in 41 games this season and leads the Maple Leafs with 27 assists and 42 points.

They're going to rush him back for the playoffs and he's going to get hurt even worse.Crosby skating now, apparently wearing some kind of Lex Luthor face shield/helmet.
they're 8 points out with 7 games left
Now is probably a good time to do it to get MacTavish started on working on the draft and free agency. At least, that's how I see it. You're not wrong with it being odd timing either.
Yep looks like I will be skipping this.
Hopefully GTA5 fills that void in September.
I hope I can live the life of Kessel. Could be amazing.
One thing I learned this morning:
Bozak and Kessel live together
Fuck we have to re-sign bozak lol

Not a surprise.
Bozak loves playing here.
Carlyle loves playing him.
Kessel needs his friend.
Dave Nonis comments basically say he's staying unless someone goes horribly wrong.
"I'm an impatient guy. I think we're at the stage ... we have to do some bold things. Expose ourselves to ... risk." - MacTavish
:O
2 1st round picks for Eric Gryba pls.
I think he may be referring to shedding 1 or 2 young star forwards to fill out the team
Eberle, Hall, RNH, Yakupov, MPS
i still think choosing yakupov was a dumb idea
Leafs in top5 of both NHL and TSN power rankings with 2 weeks to go
Feels good
(Ahead of Boston in both, wat)
The blurb for toronto though: Since the start of the 2010-2011 season, RW Phil Kessel has tallied 124 points in 123 games, fifth-most in hockey behind Steven Stamkos, Evgeni Malkin, Claude Giroux and Martin St. Louis.
"There is only one other person working in hockey who has more Cups than me. I think I know something about winning." Lowe
I'll say it now.
Tonight's Devils/Leafs game feels like a trap game to me. I hope I'm wrong.

2 1st round picks for Eric Gryba pls.
We're desperate on offense and Salvadore, Zidlicky and Clarkson's boneheaded plays makes our defense liable to stupid mistakes.
Chances are slim we'll walk away with 2 points unless we get a great early start.
Man when u decide you hate someone on our team....... Wow
