I remember when the great Heatley helped to drive my team to a Stanley Cup Championship during the NHLGAF NHL 13 Online Be a GM mode season. Marvie had given up all hope and wanted to rid himself of Heatley, and here I came along, offering up Lupul and some other scrub for All Star forwad Dany Heatley, and that trade changed the face of my organization and we went on to become champs!

He has good stats in the AHL and hasn't had a lot of time in the NHL, so this COULD work out for them...
They need a goddamn 2C or 1C though. Maybe this is a precursor to another move?
That Seguin trade though...I refuse to believe he couldn't get more for a 2nd overall pick potential 1C with a Cup at such a young age...

Heatley gave it his all for preseason. He looked good then. That was apparently really everything he had left and then injured his groin and that's the end.

good news for the Jets is even if these injuries screw up their season, then not only will they get a decent draft pick in a great draft year, but when they're healthy next season, they'll have a rock solid team for a playoff push. hutchinson might make the next step too? he seems to be quite good unlike Pavlol.

How was Steve Moses undrafted and isn't considered for the NHL? Dude leads the KHL in scoring and is insanely fast AND can hit. I guess teams are scared cause he's just 5'8 but damn he's good.
Also, Linus Omark is good, fuck the Oilers for ruining his early development and his reputation.
