Babby maybe wasn't the best comparable, think Kyle Okposo then. He has never broken 30 goals once in his NHL career and got 6M x 7 years (with a modified NTC) just this summer, and is in his late 20s as well.

JVR is gonna get PAID in 2018, anybody who argues otherwise is foolish

I feel like there's a perception of JVR that since he's 6'3 and 217 he is for some reason more valuable than what his point production shows, when in reality he isnt really physical at all and is pretty bad in his own end.

in that sense yeah, if JVR decides to try the free agency market he's getting PAIIIIIIID but it'll be for the wrong reasons

but if he's a good New Jersey Canadian boy who's willing to take the hometown discount, he's not getting 6M with the leafs with those stats

JVR is also a net presence player. Rush, net, size = value

His style doesn't exactly fit the Leafs style of speed

Mediocre doesn't equal bad lol.

Canes had a solid jersey (well, pre-Edge it was) until they switched to their current set of Bootleg Team Canada jerseys. It's incredibly boring coming from their old set.

The Dbacks' current set is alright, kind of hate the shoulder gradient, but I do like the road alternate.

Lindberg and Hrivik lines with strong back-to-back shifts finally getting some pressure for the Rangers for the first time in the game. At least the bottom six are doing their part.

Antti Raanta has 21 saves in the game, which is more than he had in two of his last three wins, including one of his shutouts. It's the first intermission.

1) I thought that whole play was offside in the first place.

2) I'm not sure that puck even crossed the goal line.

EDIT: Nope, the puck was in since it was on edge. I don't know about the offside, though, but the Rangers didn't challenge it, so moving on.
