Watching the replay had me freaking out. That thing took such an incredible bounce. I loved the Pavelec + Buff fist bump afterwards.
Didn't shift Kane enough.

And to be fair to Noel, Kane can't - due to the constraints of space and time in this mundane universe we're stuck in - physically be shifted enough.

And yes, Cookes character cleanup has been very obvious even to the casual NBC observer. Consistency in Shanabans for all, even if the victim is a repeat offender.

Can one really hate the Preds? They're in the Hawks division and even I don't have any real ill will directed at them.
They might say Cooke skated into it a bit by changing his skating lane a second before. Regardless, that elbow came up pretty high. Hope Cooke's alright.

They skated into each other but there was no call for Carlson to throw his arm up that high and leap into it. This happened with only a few seconds left in the game, there is no point in throwing hits like that at that point in the game. Can you imagine if Cooke did this? The uproar would be deafening.

I like the forward momentum we got in the this game. Still feels like we are playing short of a few key players though.
