Like you said earlier, players who are shit or are slumping tend to bring it against the Habs.

Honestly this probably is Leino's best game of the year, so I can't argue. Over the last two or three games Miller seems to be starting to put his game together finally.

ermmm what game were you watching?

You're going to tell me that Penguins didn't deserve to win based on what? The way the puck bounced off Malkin on the tying goal? So what? Every team scores some lucky goals. The Leafs should've locked the game down and held on to their 4-1 lead. They should've scored in overtime, and their players should've scored in the shootout. They didn't do any of that and so they deserved to lose.

FYI Leafs fans

The disallowed goal call was correct. Lupul skated backwards into Michalek, forcing him to make contact with Fleury.

It clearly indicates pushed, shoved or fouled. None of those happened in that situation.

Skating backwards doesn't indicate that.

Komisarek did something that fell within the boundaries of the rule earlier this season, but the goal was allowed. It's inconsistent and I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed.

Im chillin in the dome with Jerome.. well kinda. If I squint really hard I can make out the numbers..haha. Stupid nosebleeds. Nice tribute to Mcrimmon tonight.

Cole puts in more effort each game then the rest of the team combined minus Price. Would have been nuts if the team was playing as good as last year with Cole and Patches ontop of that.

Oh man now I have the Calgary 2004 playoffs song stuck in my head

Rough one tonight. The boys played a pretty game and not a gritty game. Too many unneccessary passes.

Pretty solid defensively, though. And bryz 2/3?! Fucking weird!!

At least Bryz played well tonight. Hopefully this gets him going in the right direction. Sucks that the one time the Flyers dont give up a ton of goals to the Jets, they cant score any.

I think more he meant you guys out played us for most of the game except the end of the third there where we tied it up.

Everyone is going in shootouts. It's over for the habs tonight if we don't win, for sure.

Well.. Your goalie outplayed our goalie

Ya, but as a team you guys closer to "60 minutes of hockey" than we did. You guys just totally half assed it for the last half of the 3rd which was the end of it. You guys played well up until then and did the exact opposite of what you did all game.

The Isles may be an entire 2nd line and about 3 defensemen short of being a playoff team, but damn has Tavares been a treat to watch this year. 2G and 2A tonight, and likely to be among the top 5 in the league in scoring after the day's out.

I just saw the waived off Bozak goal, L-O-FUCKING-L. You have GOT to be kidding me. I'm sorry, but they need to add instant replay to overturn or enforce this bullshit. That was atrocious. Now you know how us Wings fan feel every time Homer gets fucked out of a legit goal.

Well it's over...

I wonder how things will go next year.

edit: Markov, White, Gionta. Hopefully that will make a difference.

OK, am I thinking of last season then? I just remember the Leafs choking on a regular basis.

You missed the more detailed conversation that followed. Interference is definitely a foul ("foul" is a catch-all). I agree it's inconsistent. And I also added that it was definitely on the light/gray side of things, but to act like the refs aren't responding to an actual interference or a rule is silly.

Ryan Miller looking like Ryan Miller again for a couple games in a row too, and now one win away from passing Dominik Hasek as winningest goalie in Sabres history.

But then of course the nightly injury, Thomas Vanek...

that call was a joke. if some rule could be interpreted so that you can have a goal called back for brushing against a player and then having them flop back into their goaltender, then the rule is fucking stupid.

*fistbump Habs-GAF*

From one struggling fanbase to another, I feel you bros.

Doesn't really sting anymore, I just keep imagining grigorenko in a habs jersey, good game though Miller was back to his old self and Sabres forwards actually played well.

Wow I had no idea that Morrison was traded to the Hawks..... weird.... were they short some pucks during warmup tonight?

Where did that penalty call come from? It's like they were just waiting for an opportunity to get Ballard on clipping.... even though he didn't do anything like that

Eh. Looked like genuine cause/effect to me.
