Woooo can't believe it! Not a surprise that the only way the Jets can win a shootout is for Pavelec to go 3 for 3

Fucking major league embarrassment by the Rangers tonight. Tort's made a terrible call putting Biron on. I don't care if Henrik has started 100 out of 100 games, you play him against NJ. Fuckin' livid right now.

I hate those kinds of goals where we have a player in front of the net along with a Buffalo player, and they are both just standing there waiting for the puck to get out of the fight on the side. Why not just shove the Buffalo player out of the way instead of waiting for the puck to make its way in front of the net? This shit happens so often.

I'd cut him some slack.. Gaustad is a pretty big guy. Not sure the Montreal Dman on him. Honestly the only way Goose is going to score is if you shoot it off him. He has some of the worst hands on the team.

wow we should've had that game.

the shootout was pretty pathetic. no speed from any of the shooters and fleury never looked challenged.

I have Biron in Fantasy and I didnt even put him in my lineup tonight because I was sure Henrik would be in net against the Devils.

It's not often your team wins a game by only playing for one period, but we somehow did it tonight. I'm going to give the credit to Fleury, he was outstanding. Yeah, he allowed four but no one who watched that game can say he played poorly. Made so many timely saves when we needed it and kept us in this thing, and was money in the shootout as usual.

Speaking of money in the shootout, five in a row for Malkin. Dude is insane.

reminds me of the ottawa game except the pens were even luckier! they had to put slot machines around their city to keep their shitty team of course the luck is on their side GG

Unhappy with the loss, but we were the better team, and scored more 'goals'. :P

I thought after Lombardi missed a wide open net that we'd somehow lose the game. Him and Connolly really piss me off.

I got bored and went out early. Apparently I should have hung around.

Is it just me or do the Leafs give up a fair amount of third-period leads compared to other teams?

We were on a streak of 17 or 18 wins when leading after 2. Until tonight.

Just you considering they're 18-1-0 when leading going into the third.

Leafs are 18-1 when leading after two (this is their first blown lead in the third this year)

With that said... It was all fleury

Rough one tonight. The boys played a pretty game and not a gritty game. Too many unneccessary passes.

Pretty solid defensively, though. And bryz 2/3?! Fucking weird!!

We ain't friends no more man.

Sorry, hard not to after he fanned on that open net shot and then that limp shootout attempt.

The Pens "never give up" attitude was validated once again. They keep doing this, going down a couple points and somehow winning it in the end. The Leafs dominated the first two periods and then relaxed a bit after it was 4-1. You just can't do that against the Pens right now, they'll make you pay.

The Penguins deserved the win. The Leafs shouldn't have blown a 4-1 lead. What a shitty way to end the game.

How can you say they deserved it. They played terribly for most of the game. Fleury stood on his head and Gus let in 2 softies (surprise!).
