Well Leafs have a deep pool of Dmen/prospects, any interest there?

The Canucks don't need prospects. They need reliable dmen depth for the playoffs. I don't want to lean on Alberts and Ballard once Salo inevitably gets injured and Hamhuis suffers some freak injury.

Well we do have established D-Men as well, like Franson, which we can replace with prospects. Burke does have to move someone on the backend. I'm guessing your looking for more defensive d-men though?

With a newly minted Tim Gleason (4 year extension with the Canes). Take that name off your shopping list, boys. We do have a (mostly) used Bryan Allen and a (somewhat) expensive Tuomo Ruutu (for rent only) available.

Franson would be alright, but I think the Canucks would be looking to add someone more experienced and reliable.

But seriously, hopefully Crosby apologises for not knowing the difference between a "Chiropractor" and a "Doctor". My girlfriend is seeing a Chiro constantly for compartment syndrome, and she usually ends up walking away with more pain than in the first place and nothing that helps in her recovery of it.

They're just witch doctors who specialise in a terrible hybrid of massage and acupuncture.

And apparently the Devils are holding onto Parise and taking him off the trading block. Whatever losers, it's your future. Enjoy 9th spot and hanging Brodeurs number next year.

Ya, I've never cared much for chiros.
 
Sabres lineup is pretty healthy now. Might be too late, but worth a shot. Let's give the Leafs a run at that 9th spot this year! ;)

The disallowed goal call was correct. Lupul skated backwards into Michalek, forcing him to make contact with Fleury.

If a defending player has been pushed, shoved, or fouled by an attacking player so as to cause the defending player to come into contact with his own goalkeeper, such contact shall be deemed contact initiated by the attacking player for purposes of this rule, and if necessary a penalty assessed to the attacking player and if a goal is scored it would be disallowed.

Seems all of us have moved on at this point.

But actually I didn't know about that rule, good to know.
