I also hope Rolston gets a nice welcome back from the crowd tonight. He was one of my favorites back in the day.

I wasn't happy when we let him go and I bet the crowd at the Garden hasn't forgotten him either. He deserves to get a good response from the crowd.

I wonder if we are going to be treated to the heavyweight fight of the century between Corvo and Turris.

Here's the hit by Turris. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D-T0Iixnsc

The comments from Corvo:
"Let's just say I'll be looking for him right off the bat,"

Hopefully he's a man and he'll step up [Tuesday] when I come after him. I'm not going to try and hurt him, but I want to fight him.

Corvo backed off his comments this morning but it should make the first shift these two are on the ice together interesting.

(Bieksa tweeted that Booth and Hodgson were watching Aladdin together last week)

My room just got so dusty all of a sudden...and it doesn't help that I'm cutting these onions....and watching Bambi....and listening to Danny Boy

No, it isn't. Managing expectations, optics, etc. He'll start on the 4th line and eventually, quietly get some sample time with the Sedins or Kesler.

You wanted him playing with the Sedins right off the bat?
I want to see him in a role where he can use his body to create space in the offensive zone, 4th line winger playing 7-8 minutes doesn't seem like a good showcase of his complete skillset. But I guess they'll try and ease him into it.

Edit: Oh god. Raymond's centering the 2nd PP.

So, has just about every forward in the Canucks roster played with the Sedins? I don't watch a ton of Canucks games or keep track, but I see them with different linemates.

Nice to see Macdonald back into net, shouldn't have been moved for his streak.

and fuck you Fox Sports Detroit +, have to watch a stream of the Wings game again.

Burrows 95% of the time. Bitz got some time with them. Hansen has a couple times. That's about it. Otherwise there's overlap where someone like Booth might get a shift with them.

[edit] Kassian is an obvious choice because he's a RW with decent hands and size. I think Gillis is hoping that Kassian excels with the Sedins eventually.

Just as an aside, I was offered free 300s to the game tonight but let one of my coworkers take them. I win. It's more fun to laugh at my favourite team from home.

5mins into the game, a combined shot total of 2... And a
Combined GOAL total of 2? TROLOLOLOL
