Anyone going? Time to move south, I guess! Ladies nights, cheap/plentiful tix, Tim Thomas... ooh baby.

SMFH....

We'll never get prices like that in Toronto

I just realized as these NBC guys began to mention it that Lundqvist has now pitched 3 consecutive shutouts against the Capitals. The last goal the Caps scored on him was Ribeiro's OT winner in Game 5, so Hank is currently on a 180:00 shutout streak against the Caps.

oooh ahhh Silfverberg!

Beauch has gone from a -4 in the first game to +8. I guess he's back.

Fowler is leading the team in ice time too. His game has progressed this season.

Saw someone post on my facebook feed that they heard the bruins might be interested in yakupov. Anyone else hear about this? I googled it and found this

http://causewaycrowd.com/2013/10/16/bruins-trade-rumors-nail-yakupov-come-boston/

But that's about it and I have absolutely no idea how credible that is or if it's just 100% speculation due to the current media around him.
He just said he doesn't like to hit or check and you think the Bruins of all teams are a possible destination?

Avs are undefeated and yet I'm still waiting for the massive slide. Season is young.

This NHL has shown the end of the season can end much differently then it starts. Just look at the Sharks, or Canucks last year. I think the philosophy seems fast, fun now that Downie, O'rielly, Tangs, and Nathan Mac are all in the line up. A lot depends on Varly staying epic. I believe!

Now safe to say that we need to brainstorm for this seasons "all we do is ween ween".

What are the new San Manuel Casino ads like?
Hahaha! They haven't shown any commercials. They aren't showing Rhianna either. WE NEED SOMETHING NEW, CAPITAN!

Edit: or maybe they have? Don't recall seeing one.

I propose you use this as your new celebratory winning gif:

Mostly because I just want to see Rihanna's ass.

NEWS AND NOTES SECTION BEGIN

Stuart is coming back against Dallas tomorrow, he's taking Boyle's spot on the second pairing. Huge downgrade obviously, his puck moving skills can't compete. Irwin needs to step it up big time.

Burish is going to be out a lot longer than originally thought, sounds like he's getting back surgery. I don't care too much, our fourth line has been great so far.

Boyle said he's feeling okay today but who fucking knows with head injuries. At least six weeks out I bet if it's nothing too serious. Flew back to SJ today after spending last night and most of today at a hospital in St. Louis.
