Anyway, I watched the Jackets game last night and it was pretty much the most fun I've had watching hockey this season. I know they're not a powerhouse but they're a .500 team that can score goals and they really just seem to work hard and care. It was FUN hockey. They were all over the fucking place. Are they normally like that? Was great to see all my former boys get points up too. I never wanted any of them gone.

That was the worst game I have seen a dman play the game in a long time, Philips was on another level of suckiness last night, and of course our dumbass coach awards his shittyness by playing him and playing him, even on the last seconds when down a goal.
Neil takes 50 dumbass penalties a game, gets suckered into taking one by a rookie, lets give him the most ice time in the 3rd and put him on the ice in the last seconds when we need some offence.

Cant wait for Kernal to come in and tell me why everything is alright and that a Jack Adams coach knows what hes doing and blah blah blah.

I don't under stand how a team that is mostly improved from last year (minus buttfuck Ranger) can give half the effort that they used to. They must still have nightmares about game 7.

It's the face-offs. 60-70% of the time, the Leafs are starting play without control of the puck. I don't know what Carlyle/Nonis can to do address this, considering they hedged their bets on the Plug.
Its this combined with our inability to efficiently clear our own zone. We cough up the puck so much just trying to get it close to our blue line. I guess our D just can't handle the pressure, not sure.

Eh, I get where he's coming from. Cardinals are and always will be #1 in STL, so it gets pretty annoying.
It plays second fiddle to Hockey without a doubt, but it's far and away more entertaining than Basketball or Baseball.

I always think that the small field is weird in the NFL, also the smaller ball. Too bad a city as huge as TO couldn't support the Argos better.

And Toronto would drop the Argos at the drop of a hat if there was ANY rumblings of an NFL team coming here, but I definitely think they should be playing at somewhere other than the Rogers Centre.

Its really sad at the pathetic support in TO. The western teams are the bread and butter of the CFL, Although with Ottawa coming back with a new stadium and Hamilton building a new stadium it may help.
