I accidentally stole Red Dead Redemption. It was Boxing Day at Best Buy and I was getting some other things. Cashier went to rang it in and the prompt came to ask if I was over 18 and I think she entered NO in error but she put it with my other stuff. I thought the price was less than what I was expecting but I just wanted to leave at that point. Didn't realize until after what happened.

When I was a kid I was buying a hat, and I wore the hat all the way to the cash register. Then paid for my other items while wearing the hat. Then walked out... Wearing the hat.
You would have to take a look at the input that the receiver has.
According to the user manual it has a External Digital Optical Input Jack (Page 13).
Which is what the PS3 has, a Digital Optical Output. So that should take care of audio for your PS3.
The receiver seems really limited on inputs for audio and especially video.
