RDS is reporting McCarron will play in London, great news since he can fight there and most likely play n a line with Bo Horvat and work on his puck skills as well. Tinordi turned out great under the Hunters, so I'm not surprised he's heading there.

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.
GTA5 looks better than all next gen games shown so far.

GTA V. Holy fuck

.

This game is gonna be amazing.

Graphics? Check.
Back to San Andreas on terms of size&things to do? Check.
Online Multiplayer Free Roam? Check.

MOTHAFUCKING TENNIS? CHECK.

Damn that trailer had so much content. I'm still processing it. The wilderness looked amazing. Mountain looked huge. Planes again! Skydiving/base jumping! Golf! Heist plans!

Hyped. Sooo hyped. Probably my second-most anticipated game that's in production right now, right after Pokemon X.

I just hope he doesn't get roped into fighting too much, yeah I want him to become a mean son of a bitch, but I'd like to see his offensive game flourish, and he has a chance to do that playing with guys like Horvat and Domi.

As long as his development is focused on becoming a top 6 guy and not a goon.

It definitely will be, if he plays in the NCAA he's not allowed to fight at all, so it's more he gets a chance under the Hunters then no chance at all in college. I don't want him fighting every game but I want to wee him sticking up for guys and the Hunters will use him as a top 6 forward.

You sold your PS3 before playing TLOU... why?

Also you've got another 360 so moot point.

Also people are stupid if they're interested in upcoming games but have gotten rid of their current gen consoles already.

I traded in my 360, knowing that I'm not going to be buying any more games for it. Not that I played it a lot in the first place, really.

PS3 is staying with me. Still plenty of games to get for it. Plus, I'm pretty much putting all my PS+ instant game collection in it.

Sense from Jim Hughes (Dir of Player Development) is Rielly is far and above anyone else here. Says going back to Jr may not serve useful.

I see a 9-game tryout but will he stick?

#melnyk says they've been working on this porposal since he bought the NHL_Sens saying they need 3rd revenue stream to support team

@davidreevely (Ottawa Citizen)
Melnyk is very plainly saying -- whether you believe him or not -- that the Senators are on the line.

One of the councillors just accused melnyk of bullying the city

Enjoy your team Quebec.

Take care of Babby :(

Enjoy your team Quebec.

They'll never move the team LOL, NHL wouldn't allow it either.

It's utter bullshit they won't even let him make a bid. The city needs to remove its head from its ass but it's been like this ever since we got the team and they were forced to put the arena in Kanata.

But they do need additional revenue streams if the salary cap keeps going up. The arena is biggest parking lot in Ontario, they need to put something there. I think it's a good idea.

He is using the team as leverage against the city, that's what people like him do. Look what the Oilers owner has been doing in Edmonton.

Get Ottawa a better owner.

Melnyk is a bit nuts but he's fine as an owner. At least he cares about the team unlike others.

Oh man I'd love for Ottawa to move to Quebec City. Shame it'd never happen.

Damn Sony fanboy. I explicitly said "their current gen consoles", but you still used it as an opportunity to triumph your PS3.

What's the story behind this? Haven't really been paying attention other than the little that's been posted in here.

come in my shame circle
I like Percy and Granberg a lot, but I think they'll be Marlies all season.

Oh I know, I'm just saying out of all of our prospects I'm most curious to see how he does. He's still probably another 1-3 years away from what I've heard and with who may be infront of him.

Even worse, Phoenix vs. Ottawa Stanley Cup Finals

Loser moves to Quebec

Rest of the league implodes
I'd be okay with this is the loser team was destroyed and a replaced by one in Markham / Hamilton.

I'm sure the face of the franchise bailing on the club will help bring in revenue.

LOL we're not moving, CB is being melodramatic as always.

Hey you're a Devils fan so you've been through this before and your team is still there and it seems Lou is spending money again.

LOL FU, I don't want my team moving anywhere.

The thing about the Devils is that we're going to be fine in the near future because all the little kids and teens that saw the Devils win Cups growing up have jobs now.

Ottawa is between two historic franchises. U guys just need a cup

Nothing much. There's rumors of Melnyk's money troubles and the Sens being kept on an internal budget for some reason. So naturally everyone assumes the team will move.

With the salary cap moving team, smaller market teams have to find ways to generate additional money, we can't charge the price of a car for tickets like Toronto.

Melnyk wants to build a casino around our arena but the city won't even let him bid so he's using the team as leverage. Not unheard of.

The thing about the Devils is that we're going to be fine in the near future because all the little kids and teens that saw the Devils win Cups growing up have jobs now.

Similar deal with Ottawa, people who grew up with the team have jobs now etc. People from my generation were around before we had our own team.

Our problem is the size of our market and we can't charge crazy ticket prices since the arena is in the middle of nowhere.

The market is fine but if NHL revenues and the cap keeps going up, more money has to come from somewhere, or the team bleeds money.

So how are the other small market teams dealing with this? Or are they also in peril?

Pretty much all other teams have some additional source of income. No one makes money on the team itself except the really big markets.

Usually the team ownership owns the arena and makes money off all the events at the arena(and they wouldn't have the arena without a major tenant like an NHL team). That's how Florida stays afloat despite everyone thinking it's a money sink (it's not).

But there are limits if the salary cap keeps growing as NHL revenues grow. Revenue sharing will help but it will not be enough, especially if a team wants to spend to the salary cap and make a strong push for the Stanley Cup (this is Ottawa's problem).

KernelPanic has done a fine job of explaining what is going on in Ottawa, so I just want to reiterate this: building a casino to supplement Sens revenue was all part of Melnyk's plan from Day 1. That he is upset by all this is because after all these years of waiting for the opportunity, city council effectively says "screw you, we're putting this where we want to".

Now, let's be clear, Melnyk is completely self-interested here as he is simply looking to line up his own pockets with an additional revenue stream. But council is also being selfish because they just want to cut corners by putting a casino where a race track already exists just to congregate all the gambling in one place.

Holiday 2014. A GOTY type edition on PS4/XOne.
Probably.

My point was more that people want it to be for next-gen systems NOW. Some were suggesting the trailer would reveal next-gen and PC versions. And now some are/were convinced that the trailer had to be running on a PC and indicative of next-gen versions.

Just saw that Calgary signed a Finnish goalie named Karri Ramo to a 2/5.5 contract. Bryz must be looking at the KHL now.
Reminds me of last season. Flames ended up trading two goalies a few weeks before the season.
