So the Rangers right now look like:

Nash-Brassard-Zuccarello
Kreider-Stepan-Miller
Etem-Hayes-Fast
Glass-Moore-??????
??????

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Boyle
Yandle-Klein
??????

Lundqvist
Bag of pucks

There are a few forwards from Hartford that may be ready to move up to the big time, like Oscar Lindberg, Ryan Bourque, Marek Hrivik, etc., and I feel like none of them (except for maybe Bourque?) really fit a 4th line role, so they could slot in on the third line and move Fast down to 4.

Hunwick could also very well be back as the 7th D, as the team has shown interest in re-signing him.

Which just leaves the matter of who sits at the end of the bench and watches Lundqvist overwork himself over the course of the season.

is there any info on Lukas Vejdemo?

Sounds like a late bloomer.

This Swedish center took a significant step forward in his development this past season. Passed over in last year draft after playing at the U18 level, this year he was probably the MVP of the U20 SuperElit. Vedejmo has been effective in pretty much every area of the game and it will be interesting to see what kind of player he will be able to become at the senior level after an adaption period. He has good puck control and has some power to his shot, but he is not overly skilled and his projection from an offensive standpoint is far from a safe one. However, he has a few things going for him along with his size. He is no stranger to the net, works hard, doesn’t quit on the play and doesn’t mind going into the corners to dig the puck to create opportunities. His strong two-way all around game makes him a candidate to develop into a 3rd liner that can bring some secondary scoring. He is not a flawless skater, his stride seems to have room for mprovement, yet he can generate surprising power and use his skating as an asset, for example when chasing the puck. He can stickhandle through traffic, but he can be at fault for trying to do too much, sometimes taking too long shifts. Should further develop his physical game, as it will probably be needed to become the kind of player he projects to be at the next level.

Jesper Lindgren is a great pick at 95th overall. #Leafs do well there.

cool I guess

Wait we dumped Wiz too?!? Something huge is happening! GO BM!!

Just read:

Unless, of course, the Ducks get an offer on Andersen or Khudobin this summer, too. The bottom line here is that Ducks GM Bob Murray cleverly has given himself some chips to play with, his team once again loaded in goal. Plus, he saved about $3.25 million in cap space by moving Wisniewski. I don’t think Anaheim is done dealing this summer, and it kept going on Saturday, trading for Carl Hagelin from the New York Rangers in exchange for Emerson Etem in a deal that also featured a few picks changing hands.
