Partially as an aside, I find the second source incredibly dubious. Other articles on the site have an obvious pro-Kane slant and there have been [previous allegations of problems](http://www.cjr.org/behind_the_news/niagara_falls_reporter.php) with the source. There is also a blatantly wrong misreporting in the linked article claiming that no DNA from Kane was found on the victim, which completely runs against the story from the first source. The first source was corroborated by numerous reliable sources; the second stands on its own. Read the Niagara Falls Reporter with a huge grain of salt

Just finished watching the game, Kassian is an idiot and I can't wait for the day for him to be traded.
Stand outs for me were McCarron, Petry, Barbario, Pateryn and Mitchell. I think people underestimate how positive of an affect having a player like Petry for a full season will have on this team. DSP definitely looked smoother and faster, but I still don't have high expectations.

I've never liked him
His line with McCarron had some of the best possession throughout the game and some of the best cycling. Being preseason and the Leafs using most of their prospects, I don't put much stock into it, but if they can replicate that against regular NHLer's they could be decent. That being said, I don't see him progressing beyond a 3rd line winger.

So hyped! Apparently they are showing two levels in their entirety. Hunt the Truth S2E01 was excellent as well. It's going to be a long wait to October 27th. At least we have hockey!

Looks like the baby Wings put up a pretty good fight against the Hawks top guns, I'm impressed and I heard Mantha was a beast.
WTF with all this Gilmour bashing now? The allegations against Gilmour never went anywhere. He was never charged and furthermore the civil suit the family tried to use was dismissed. He never had any "settlement" to buy off the family and always maintained he was framed for money extortion.

I heard that as well and that MC actually was pretty decent in net, nice to see Pulky also get a goal.
I think if we get some injuries we'll see Mantha suit up for the big boys this year if he continues to play well. Need to find some highlights now so I can see the goals.
(Blues A Squad > Columbus B Squad) + (Blues B Squad < Columbus A Squad) = first round exit. Or alternately St. Louis + Blues = first round exit.
