Crossing my fingers for a demo still.
Forget it, there is no demo.
Crossing my fingers for a demo still.
I can't believe I'm going to have two of the best action games ever on my handheld.
I need to go preorder this.
Momojis Level is probably the most boring additional chapter added in sigma 2.
Think I'll end up grabbing this for Momiji; just wish there was a way to get the Gamestop costumes by buying it off PSN or somehting. ;_;
They'll most likely be made DLC a few months or so after launch.
No white Ryu costume in the shots either (it was DLC/pre-order from NGS2) - I hope that made it into the final game...
EDIT2: Character model comparison time:
EDIT3:
Wasn't the white Ryu costume included with the other 3 DLC costumes as a character pack? If those made it in, I'm sure the Hayabusa armor made it in too.
I hope the Hayabusa armor is in the game - it's pretty badass.....but I am really looking forward to the DOA costume (and how you unlock it)....
I really hope you are wrong about the PSN unlock.....
And the most difficult on Master Ninja....
Ayane was the most difficult for me because she can't damage for shit.
No way, Rachel's elevator hell was the worst. Also is there a list of new costumes?
I want to buy this but I'm so god awful at melee action games lol
So far, we have...
Ryu:
-DOA2 outfit.
Ayane:
-DOA5 outfit.
-Alternate version of her DOA5 costume.
Momii:
-No idea what this is.
-Schoolgirl Miko?
Rachel:
-Fiend-style jumpsuit.
-Extremely revealing alternate version of the Fiend jumpsuit.
Pretty... pretty... pretty good
There is one shot (http://www.siliconera.com/postgallery/?p_gal=279289|15) that shows the bow button is a toggle between using the bow and running around normally.
I wonder if they removed the touch screen feature to power up the ninpo, it was a pain in the ass in NGS+.
Looks good. Even at 30 FPS it will play better than NG3. Maybe Ninja Race mode is the dev team getting back to their skill based roots.
Still no conformation on the 60fps?
Its sink or swim time for this game.
Edit: So it is 30fps, bleh forget it.
I'm playing Ninja trials missions in NGS+, I have only "desperation missions" left, there's a survival mission, do I need to survive for some time or kill the monster ?
I am sort of slogging my way through the first game right now...really not feeling it. This game looks to be better. Doubt I'll Day 1, but I'll keep an eye on it.
Wait, it's confirmed somewhere?
Where?
If it's true, then I need to update the FAQ.
EDIT: Also, two more days till PORTABLE NINJATON
HYPE LEVELS RISING
Good, thanks.Survive for a set amount of time IIRC. You can kill the enemies too if that way is faster for you.
Good, thanks.
Dream definitely seems to be over - someone posted on Gamefaqs some early impressions from HK:
- game runs in sub-native resolution
- no AA, jagged line everywhere
- stable 30+ FPS with 5-6 enemies on screen
- HK version has both Japanese and English voice, so it is safe to assume NA version will be the same too.
- Cutscenes are pre-rendered.
- Graphics seems to be a little worse than sigma+
- UT/ET/OT close up scenes have a blurry effect.
- No big problems with framerate. 30 fps is near constant.
Also some screenies here
No AA is a bit of a letdown after how nice the first one looks. I was until now of the opinion that maybe just the close ups had no AA. Still will be great to have this on portable.

Really?, they can add some AA even if the game runs in sub-native resolution?. Disappointing info.

Are the loading times improved?
Pre-rendered or just recordings or the PS3 version?
