Taking into mind that the Wii U ND was only 36 minutes and what we know so far I'm now expecting this:
Wii U:
-TT2 news
-Lego trailer
-date of spring update
-If we're lucky we will get dates for Q2

3DS:
-mention of the popularity and shipment troubles of FE
-spring and summer patches for the 3DS
-localizations(could be Fantasy life, DQ, Layton, BD)
- New games(Kirby and Zelda seem likely and I could see them to try and revitalize and older/weaker ip like Star Fox the same way they did with FE and Kid Icarus)
-new colors. We already know that pink is getting reprinted for Valentines day so they may sneak other colors in as well.
-Dates for Q2
-VC news
-Demos for upcoming releases
-Luigi gameplay
-Pokemon news

Considering it's basically a mainline title as all sep. FNC titles are supposed to be.

I'd love it for 3DS but I'm not delusional. Square doesn't have a clue what it wants to do anymore.

I wonder if a Majora's Mask remake would include extra content.

We know that the unused content in OOT became part of MQ. The WW remake is possibly getting some of its unused content. Do we know if there was anything left over from MM? I'm not optimistic given the short development cycle.

Fire Emblem is a weak IP? It may be weak in the West, but it's definitely strong in Japan.

This one will probably be Reggie/Shibata/Iwata in the respective regions instead of just Iwata. Looks like each region is doing their own thing.

I am predicting no new announcements for the Japanese stream; and at best a few ports for the western ones ; basically will be only footage and localization of the games they've already announced.

it was in a slump in japan (150k-250k depending on the entry) since the late gba days. then awakening came out, and became the second best-selling game in the series. the situation in america was pretty similar.

star fox is in need of a revival. it could do great things if people remembered what made it good in the first place.

It was doing fairly weak outside of Japan thanks to Radiant Dawn and Shadow Dragon not being very strong; Awakening was a much-needed shot in the arm.

I blame Shadow Dragon a bit more, it was pretty bad for a FE game.

Really? I thought the DS games did pretty well there. Regardless, I still wouldn't put it in the same league as Star Fox which hasn't had an original title since Command and a great game since Star Fox 64.

expect release dates and new footage of announced games. if we're lucky, a localization announcement or two from the Western divisions.

It's a global ND. Last time this happened, we got, respectively;

- Wind Waker HD, Fire Emblem x SMT
- Pokemon X/Y
- Bayonetta 2

So should be something fairly good.

Also nobody wants Zelda 3DS by Monolith. They need to work on new RPGs. They can give the Zelda console team pointers on developing a good, large world however.
