Hmm, takes longer to boot up than I thought it would. Not terrible though, but it's a bit odd having been used to the almost instant on DS/DSi.

You could always nap until the GDC Keynote!

Well, you're supposed to have it on sleep mode most of the time. Unless that's the time it takes to wake up (I hope it isn't)

There is a Health Safety warning icon on the screen.

Any of those channel icons can be moved around by hold-drag-drop. I moved my Health Warning to the furtherest out page.

Okay I finally got home from work and watched those Steel Diver vids.

Yeah that's exactly what I wanted. The periscope parts look amazing, especially the part in the stormy seas. Can't wait to look like an idiot doing that on a train or something. lol

It's the great performance from Nintendo World 2011! in 3D! Pretty epic.

i just updated, and the name of the channel is "期間限定 3D movie", which means available for a limited period. i think it's just throwing people a bone so they get used to updating.

The Health Warning is not gone. Just placed on the next screen, that he needs to scroll to the right to.

I can't imagine anything stopping you from selling all your dogs and just owning a cat. You just have to start with a dog.

Right. It's not really that big of a deal. You don't get to start with the best car in a racing game, so it makes sense that you have to work a little bit to get the best pet.

IF there are any way to do so, I have not found one. I can only edit the user account I first created upon using the 3DS for the first time.

It's also worth noting - at least from my interpretation of the Iwata Asks interviews - that the thinking behind Nintendogs + Cats is that the cats are there to come and interact with your dogs, rather being an option for you right from the outset. The developers seem to have viewed their introduction in terms of how it changes things with your dog, rather than as them being a primary pet. You can see this thinking throughout, from the way the title is presented ("+ Cats" tagged on) to the boxart (the dogs very much the primary focus) and into the game structure itself.

Think of them as an accessory for your dog... ;-)

Mine should be here sometime this week but I was wondering if anyone has tried an SD card besides the 2GB one it comes with? Was planning on picking up an 8GB for it. I'm hesitant since I know the Wii wasn't able to use larger SD cards (not sure if it's still the case).
