Both Monster Hunter and W101 give terrible first impressions, and both are ridiculously great games.

So if I want to give the free game to a friend do I register Mario Kart 8 on my account and it is something separate for the free game or does he need to register Mario Kart 8 with the club nintendo code?

Looks like Mario Kart 8 registered for me but I never got to confirm my free game. Now that I managed to sign back it, it's not giving me the opportunity.

Got myself Game & Wario because I already have the rest or don't really want the other games (Wii Party U, Sonic Lost World, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games).

I've gotten to the email confirmation page a few times now. Then it hangs and I see "Connection was reset".

Pretty irritating. How many Wii U's can there be, anyway?

Well, I got in and it said select your free game.. chose Pikmin 3 and then the site basically shit the bed. Hopefully I'm not screwed.

That's a much nicer position to be in Vs 'which of the titles I wasn't really interested in should I go for just because it's free?'

Both pikmin and WW are great. I'd lean towards pikmin 3, but I do love that series

You could probably pick up a code for cheap I the BST thread and get both :)

Well I got my free game, problem is the site hiccuped when I registered MK8, so it isn't showing my registration survey, thus costing me 70 coins that I very much need. Hopefully it shows tomorrow...

Wind Waker is the best value I would say, Pikmin 3 is really fun but kinda short except if you are into speedruns.

New Super Mario U, Nintendoland and Monster hunter 3 would also be all really good options.

Club Nintendo is getting hammered. I've been trying to register MK8 for the last 5 hours and its been impossible. I can't stop smiling tho lol. I like when good things happen to Nintendo. I guess cus theyre always getting bullied idk.

Gotten an offer at my local game store if i trade in my pikmin 3 game i can get mario kart voor €19 i could redownload pikmin again but man that box art is just pure love :(

Just got home with a MK8 WiiU Bundle. Got Zelda free already as a rewards points deal from my debit card. Bought W101 over the weekend in anticipation of getting the WiiU. Gonna register and get Pikmin 3. The gonna trade an eshop card for NSMBU. 5 games in total already out the gate. I'm happy.

yes, TBH I could'nt be more happy for the big N that their site has been overloaded. I hope this helps turn the system around becuase I really want more games for the system.

Could somebody tell me what the story is with the coins? I keep taking all the coins but I dont know what they are for. They add up to 10 and I lose them if I fall out of the track or if i get hit.

They increase your speed gradually. They also unlock kart parts.

You are better off not putting the code right now. I put mine, clicked on the confirm button, got the maintenance message and I got no free game code. It's not on my history like some guys here say it should be, but mk8 shows as registered already....

I'm going to have to get support involved which sucks....

Zelda or NSMBU?

I have never played Wind Waker and platformers are my favorite genre. I prefer having physical boxes so I'm going to get their retail copies someday.

the promotion ends on july 31st, so there is plenty of time for you to register the code after the year ends on june 31st

I'm having some difficulty locating my code to enter on Club Nintendo.

I purchased the bundle so maybe that's why it's different. I didn't find a Club Nintendo paper in my game case, there was only a generic Club Nintendo paper in the console box. Anyone else who bought the MK8 bundle know where to find the code to enter on the site?

Alternatively, I tried entering serial code on the back of the game case but that doesn't appear to work either.

You don't enter a code when you get a game with a system. When you link your Wii U to your Club Nintendo account, it will just show up...eventually. Don't know how long it will take as CN is seriously fucked right now.

Haha yeah. I got an email saying they resolved my issue with the Mario Kart 8 promotion linking up. But Club Nintendo is broken right now.
