Ditto for Doublefine and CQ2. When even Nicalis is more timely than you, you know you have a problem.
Looking it up it seems Ittle Dew hasn't released in Europe yet either, even though Ludosity said they'd finished lotcheck and were just waiting on release date confirmation from NOE. This was over a year ago and not a word since... what's going on?Seriously. Also they're putting Ittle Dew 2 on Xbox One.
Hey if they really don't want my money, whatever.

Oh, my mistake, I was looking at the Steam release date. It came out in Europe (minus DE) last November so where's our American patch? It came out in Europe ages ago. What they didn't do is release it in Germany. Which is fucking ridiculous for a game like that.

Evidently they were also in negotiations with a Japanese publisher for release there, I guess that went nowhere?
Wow, thanks! Never expected that. Can confirm!
They're clearly not very invested. Just a few weeks/months ago they excitedly tweeted about how many copies they sold in total. When tiny devs like Bertil Hörberg with Gunman Clive or Gulatica with ZaCiSa can release their games everywhere and support all regions equally, how can't they do it? That's what always trips me up.
xD. They had some (cheesy?) popcorn and pretzels. Eventually they had some cookies (chocolate chip & oatmeal) and some kind of cheesecake.
I think the stage itself was a bit simple for Steamworld Heist, and it didn't seem like there was any heal mechanic from what I could tell. It's early in the game I presume, so I probably was missing the healer. It was fine, albeit a bit hard for me.
Watched the nindies trailer.
FAST, Freedom Planet and The Next Penelope look absolutely amazing. So envy for Wii U owners, at least until I get a Wii U too
Among the "games I don't need to envy Wii U owners for" there are Poncho, New n Tasty, Electronic Super Joy and Shantae 4 which also look great. Nintendo is working really hard on the indie side and it shows.
Hmmmm....
Yup(was this in the full show? the trailer isn't featuring it). It's made by very talented (and italian ) devs, their previous game was a blast to play.Sounds pretty tasty. I tried a free sample of Chicago Mix (cheese + caramel) popcorn at the mall today when my wife's new glasses were being made at Lenscrafters, it was a bit on the oily side. The Popcorn, Indiana brand stuff is delectable, though. (As are all their products.)
Anyway! On topic. I think SWH is probably the kind of game I'd find pretty difficult, too, but I'm planning to give it a shot regardless. I bet you're correct that a healer would help, and is probably to be found in the game a bit later on. Did you get to play anything at PAX proper?
Next Penelope and Poncho appealed to me the most in the trailer for sure. Poncho in particular looks right up my alley. Really dig the art style in that one. Lots of great indies coming up. Still psyched for forma.8 as well!
Also speaking of goof ups.. Back when I changed ZaciSa's NA price back at end of July. I somehow messed up the Mexican price. No idea how, but I somehow set it to 16 Mexican Pesos. Which essentially translates to $0.95. That is 75% cheaper then what I meant to do, 65 Pesos. So I've put in an order to fix that in Sept. I have NO idea how that happened, esp as I remember doing a conversion. Weird. lol

Runbow will speed onto Wii U on Thursday!
Had my first day at PAX today. Got a free ticket somehow for tomorrow (apparently Smash tourneys have extra badges available?...).
Star Fox Zero - Looks and plays much better in person. I'm excited to play the whole game once it releases. Played the Corneria and Sector Z (?) stages, most of which you've seen in videos online and what not.
Triforce Heroes was a blast, even with complete strangers. I get a chance tomorrow to play with some friends, so that should be even better (evil laughter).
Mario Maker was a lot of fun as well. Made a fairly random level really quickly (it takes time to make a good level, but the interface is pretty intuitive), and then played through and beat the first level from the NWC2015. It actually wasn't too bad since I already knew what to do.
I didn't get a chance to play Poncho, although that was more by choice (it was open, but I just wanted to play other things on Thursday). I may check out some more indie games tomorrow.
Incredible how reminiscent these levels are of SF64, having just played the 3DS version for the first time recently. I'm not a huge SF fan but it almost looks like a remake of that game. I mean, Yoshi's New Island seemed to do pretty much the same thing w/ Yoshi's Island and I liked it a lot, but I'm more inclined to play Yoshi's Island twice with minor differences than SF.
Vs. Excitebike coming tomorrow

EarthBound Beginnings should've had a 3DS release too. Drives me nuts when NES games make it to Wii U but not 3DS (ie: Ufouria), and vice versa (ie: Recca).Seems odd not to put this on 3DS too.
It seems Nintendo has largely forgotten the service exists there too for most of this year.

Yeah, and somehow it seems worse when it's one of Nintendo's own games. I really wish they'd push for VC parity between both systems. And then work on getting those straggler Wii games over. And then bring new stuff.Murasame Castle, too ... "trapped" on 3DS VC only.
It is odd how the 3DS VC service has been essentially discontinued. Further proof that the Wii U VC games will be available day one on NX.
So my daughter wants Ace Attorney Dual Destinies for her 3DS which is on sale until tomorrow. She brings her 3DS over so I can put in my credit card info and tap purchase. I do that and the game is downloading.
A little while later, she comes over and says that I got the wrong game. I said, what are you talking about? All I did was to put in my card info. You picked out the game.
It turns out that she got the Trilogy instead of Dual Destinies. That sucks considering that she already has those games on the DS. I'm going to have to call Nintendo support tomorrow to see if they will give me credit so that we can buy the correct game instead.
Has anyone had success with Nintendo for eshop credit?
Probably won't get a PR today, considering it's a Bank Holiday in the UK. Though a European one may crop up
Sin & Punishment for Europe this Thursday
has anyone gotten youtube gaming to work on their wiiU browser? it worked for me at e3 but it doesn't now

Sin and Punishment, StarTropics and Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II are coming this week to EU.
They've talked in the past about how the Wii U architecture will carry over, but the 3DS wasn't built with that in mind. So they're probably focusing on the VC that will easily move over, whether it's available day 1 or drip-dripped again.
Even of that's the case, it would be nice to at least get some of those 3DS only games on to the Wii U.
Question for you guys. Not sure if there's a more appropriate place, but I take this to be a 'general Nintendo community'. Hope no one minds
I've got a bunch of old Nintendo games I'm looking to sell. All in great condition and CIB. Some (what I believe to be) rare ones, too. Fire Emblem GBA, Super Princess Peach, Zelda Collector's Edition, etc.
Is the Buy/Sell community a good place to post them or would 90% of the games (since they're all old - GC, GBA, DS) never draw any interest? Any other online communities where it might make more sense? Is there a commonly used reference point for how much some of these games would be worth? Thanks
How many Bank Holidays on Monday has the UK? :O hahaha
Bought Scram Kitty yesterday... played for 10 minutes and I still don't know how to get some cats (passing through them doesn't make anything? Anyway, I'll read the manual next time )

(P.S. Interestingly, StarTropics II is no longer getting the "import tax" it got on the Wii Shop in EU.)
None of the games do that never came out in EU before do. S&P would've had one as well. The Earthbound are the only irregularly priced games.
Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. I assume then that ST2 counts as "having come out before in EU" because it was in the Wii Shop, then? Because I know it was 500 points on the Wii Shop in NA, but 600 for y'all in EU.
Those distinctions simply don't exist anymore. They're all just VC games on Wii U. The import tax was a relic of the hanabi festival and stuff like that.
