Oh, cool. Main reason I want to play it is for Motion+ sword-swinging, but nice that there's a non-motion option, too. Maybe some future eShop import special down the road ...
I got Titan Attacks in a Humble Bundle so $10 feels a bit steep (but this is par for the course for a lot of indies on Wii U/3DS) but I might just be willing to double-dip at some point since we lack a good digital Space Invaders game, especially if it's in 3D.
Since this is our catch-all N-thread, I wanted to say I'm really psyched to have traded my OOT cart + shipping for a new CIB copy of Majora. I should be able to get it on Friday when I pick up Kirby. Yay!
You still have a digital copy of Ocarina of Time, right?
Since, it's a far, far, far better game than Majora's Mask.
Majora's Mask being the 2nd-worst non-CDi console ZeldaAhead of only Wind Waker
We're working on two projects which both revisits our previous works in two very different and exciting ways.
Wasn't sure where to put this. Simogo tweeted this...

I didn't play much of it, but I think it was something similar to the Atelier games?

Hm I guess I should stop expecting Wii games for a bit. I been eyeing Adventure Bar Story, but it looks like I'm getting both Majora's Mask and Kirby next week that would be a bit of a new game over kill.

...really?
Really?
REALLY?
Is the recent Kirby game on 3DS worth it? I'd much prefer playing a Kirby 2D platformer like the original NES game for example.
For that matter, what Kirby games were pure 2D platformers and not a collection of mini games?

Yes, 3DX is great, though IMO Return to Dreamland is better due to co op, a better Extra mode, minigames that are fun with friends.
The following are 2D platformers:
Dream Land 1, 2, 3
Kirby's Adventure
Super Star (and Ultra)
Kirby 64
Squeak Squad
Amazing Mirror
Kirby's Return to Dreamland (called Kirby's Adventure Wii for some bizarre reason in europe)
Kirby Triple Deluxe
And Canvas Curse/Rainbow Curse are most certainly not minigame collections. I'm not sure any Kirby game has really been a collection of minigames. There's just games that are more experimental, Canvas Curse is a full length fully featured Kirby game.
Yes. Triple Deluxe is one of the better games in the series. The only one I'm not really a fan of is The Amazing Mirror.
Nightmare in Dreamland too
Amazing Mirror seems like a nice concept, but the whole thing is hampered by the terrible map screen. It also has the most awesome copy ability, Smash.
We should start a GAF pool to predict when DKC and Zero Mission will actually hit in NA.
So who's getting Flap Flap? You all know you want to spend $8 on a 3DS Flappy Bird clone!
I'll be honest, it doesn't look as bad as I was expecting, and it at least tries some new ideas... it's still about $8 too much of course.
Was the Codename S.T.E.A.M. demo only temporarily available on the eShop or why can't I find it?
just type "code" and it'll be the firs thing. the game is called "code name" not "codename."
... Downloading now. You don't know how stupid I feel atm. Thanks.
