Oh wow, cheaper than I thought. Figured it'd be $10 at the cheapest. Hopefully will hear impressions/reviews considering I like ZoE.

There's no extra features at all for MSF2 on Wii U, correct? I might buy it anyway at such a low price to have 'em both on one platform. I got it on 3DS after I heard they were going to look the same and 3DS launched first. Is the sale live in the US or do I have to wait until friday?

Oh, good price on Trilogy...that's digital only in US right? I guess I might as well bite sometime

Oh, lookies what I got (these are related enough right?)

Really loving the waterhose mechanic in MSF2. G

Yeah, it's a pretty great addition. Hosing the holligan girls is...I appreciate their attention to detail

MSF2 is exactly the same on Wii U & 3DS, even the same price.

Edit: Darn, no sale on the Sega 3D Classics in the US, only EU it seems.

Yeah, get the Mighty Switch Force games if you haven't yet, on both platforms even. Absolute steal at that price and they're really fun.

oh, and BUY 3D OUTRUN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR

Might wait for a sale. Somebody else having trouble with the title-screen on Outrun? the 3D is very weird for me and I have trouble focusing. Is it better in-game?
Some titles seem to be that way for me but don't know why.

Might be connected to the LASEK-operation I had a couple of years ago?

I had LASIK twelve years ago (almost to the date), no problems with 3D.

Do note, however, that the 3D on the Sega remakes is pretty extreme. Try adjusting the levels, both in-game and via the hardware slider.

Is there a Community Thread just to talk about 3DS or Nintendo in general? Or this thread right here would be this place?

I've ordered my New 3DS XL with Zelda OoT 3D, but I want to buy another game too, I would like to have some opinions.

1- Never had a 3DS before. So every game for the console is new for me.

2- Since I've bought a Zelda already, I want another title since there are so many different franchises I'm interested in.

3- I want Pokemon and Harvest Moon, but it seems a new Pokemon may be announced soon (right?) and Story of Seasons is about to get released. So another titles would be great by now.

So guys and girls, what would you recommend me? I'm really interested in many and many franchises: Bravely Default, Mario (Bros, 3D Land, Kart), Luigis Mansion, Fire Emblem, Shin Megami Tensei, Super Smash Bros, Donkey Kong, Monster Hunter, and so on!

There won't be a new mainline Pokémon for a little while yet. Look into X/Y, they were effectively soft-reboots of the series and so may be a very good point to dive in.

I second XY, great selection of pokemon, I'd recommend it as a starting point over ORAS, but those are alright too. There may be a Z version but who knows, and the updates in those usually aren't super extreme. I kind of hope it isn't released this year, annual pokemon is a but too much even if it's a "real" gen, remake, update cycle.

Animal Crossing New Leaf is great, but be warned you'll either not understand the appeal at all or spend hundreds of hours in it. If you never had a DS I would start there, personally. Amazing library and most can be found for pretty cheap. I like my 3DS but it doesn't stack up yet. My favorites on 3DS are probably Kirby 3X, Pokemon XY, ACNL, Majora's Mask 3D, Link Between Worlds. There's some good stuff on the eShop too, definitely play the Switch Force games while they're cheap.

I'm surprised they didn't go with "Perma-Junior" like the Real Abed has this time. Maybe there's eventual hope for me to return to Member Status (third membership's the charm!).

I haven't been told yet, but I presume it was an overabundance of silliness.

Really excited to try out the Phoenix Wright Trilogy! I really should finish Metroid Fusion and Majora's Mask 3D first tho...

are those prices the lowest for Phoenix Wright?
been wanting to jump on

I think I may have answered this for you on Twitter already, but just to put it out here, Dual Destinies has been cheaper on the eShop in the past (at $14.99), but this is Trilogy's first sale and may or may not get any cheaper.

Thanks a lot!
So I may get Pokemon X or Y. Anny special recommendations between both of them?

My last time playing pokemon was with Pokemon Crystal years and years ago. lol
So I'm really lost about the new features and differences.

I was in the same boat. My last pokemon game was Gold, and I'm loving Y so far. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

That's great to hear! I was also looking into the pokemon differences, I think I'll go with X. Besides my opinion is pretty divided (both have some really cool pokemon and evolutuions).

Go for it! I only got Y because it was on sale at Best Buy -- something like $7 cheaper than X. You'll have a great time with it!

Can anyone confirm first-hand that the EU version of Phoenix Wright Trilogy has a Japanese option? Google says yes, but the store lists it as English only.

Oh, I'd like to know this about the NA version as well.

The Nintendaan vid I found shows that it has English and Japanese though I believe he uses an japanese 3DS.

Btw, here's a thing about the EU-exclusive cross-discount for Shantae: if you want to buy the game during the sale and are wondering if the 50% discount for owning it on one system still applies I can confirm that yes it does. However, it still goes 50% off the regular price, not 50% off the sale price. So it's €8,25 if you bought it on one platform already.

The Nintendaan vid I found shows that it has English and Japanese though I believe he uses an japanese 3DS.

I only know that the Japanese retail version of the Trilogy has both JP and EN language options which is why it's a good import if you have a JP 3DS.

So I may get Pokemon X or Y. Anny special recommendations between both of them?

Doesn't matter too much, I picked Y because I prefer it's mascot pokemon and it's story is more to the dark side (just barely, and the story is pretty minor honestly). Aside from the version exclusive legendary and mega evolutions, you can very easily obtain everything from the other versions via trading. Any breedable pokemon is extremely easy to obtain online (well phione is relatively hard).
