Honestly, hypothetical remakes of Chrono Trigger and FFVI being exclusive to Switch wouldn't be that weird to me considering those particular games do have a big history with Nintendo consoles.

Something like Bayonetta 2 was way more out there because the first game basically had nothing to do with Nintendo lol

Obama care is hopefully about to get fixed, I have faith those high deductibles will be gone and a lot more choices will become available. A metric F-Ton of doctors and health providers dropped out of Obama care and made things even worse for some people.

I will be very disappointed if Nintendo manages to launch Switch and Zelda side-by-side in the US but the game being (as now rumored) delayed months for Europe. It will basically confirm they're stuck back in 2001.

I will still buy it singularly for that game but I will probably hand it over to someone else if I really have to deal with imports, fake addresses and whatnot. I want to buy all my games digitally and in 2017 I would expect that to happen near day-and-date with the rest of the western hemisphere.

What's a mono communicator? And seeing those Mario accessories almost made me think 3D Mario was going to launch too lol, but then I realized he's Nintendos mascot so they'll sell his accessories from the get go.

I don't know why, but I have this absolutely HORRIBLE feeling in my gut that when the presentation begins, the very first glimpse of gameplay footage we see (of whatever game it is) is going to look like utter shit when compared to PS4/XB1 games and it' going to hit us all like a ton of bricks that Switch games do indeed graphically look like Wii U games.

I'm just getting that feeling for some bizarre reason.

I was literally just asking about the chances of a CT game as a Switch exclusive the other day. And by CT game I mean a sequel to Trigger/Cross or a remake or just a new RPG made with key CT staff

I'm more of a gameplay guy than a graphics dude, but geez.

Yesterday I was playing 3D World with 3 friends on my Wii U and everytime I'm blown away on how good it looks. Even if I regulary play on PC and Xbone, some of Wii U games continue to amaze me in graphics side too, so I'm really not concerned for this in Switch.

I honestly just accepted the fact that Nintendo Switch will have just slightly better graphics than Wii U. So slightly the Wii U ports are gonna look practically identical on Swtich with the exception of more stable framerates.

People talking about a Federation Force port to Switch. If they port the game to Switch using Splatton engine, it could be a good game.

The game on 3DS just don’t feel right.

I would love to see what Nintendo first party titles would look like with something like a PS4 powering them. Production value and graphical fidelity would be through the roof. Hell, even a better version of the Zelda Wii U tech demo would be amazing.

Wouldn't the art style and general look of the game stay relatively the same regardless of hardware power. I mean just compare Botw to Xenoblade X.

I mean, there is no doubt the PS4One will continue to have better (technically) looking games so I wouldn't have my expectations too high there, but could you pick more of a poor comparison? Lol. You just compared a gif to a still screenshot.

Maybe it's just me. But even if the console was on par with PS4. The Nintendo games will still play the same. Which I feel is the important part.

I personally am more of Gameplay first type of person.

Compare Zelda graphics to Vita if you want to feel good. It is a portable after all.

Regardless, Nintendo games look great and those that are upset they're not the most advanced in the industry are focused on far different things in a game than I am.

This is what I'm pretty much assuming, but I'm not really concerned over it. I have no real desire to buy the Switch at the moment. The onus is completely on Nintendo now to prove that they have absolutely killer stuff coming at regular enough pace, otherwise the graphical quality won't really matter to me. By "absolutely killer stuff" I mean something other than yet another Mario game and Mario spin-off UNLESS it's something as wondrous and inventive as Mario Galaxy. Give me a new big production Metroid, give me a Super Metroid remake etc. Give me a smash that is not just a port of the Wii U version. Give them soon enough, and then I'm in.

None of this stuff matters. If Horizon ran on the PS3 I'd still be excited because it has a huge variety of robot dinosaurs. I'd welcome an successful console whose marketing isn't obsessed with boring shit like clock speeds teraflops.

Also this comparison is so hugely slanted in Horizon's favor it makes me think you're not a Nintendo fan. It's like something a 14 year old on reddit would post.

Awful comparison. You can't compare a gif to a still photo. You also managed to choose one of the worst pictures i've seen of BOTW whilst comparing it a great looking gif of horizon. Not to mention are you in full control of your character in that gif? Are both games the same size in terms of scale or scope? Can you play horizon on the go like you can with BOTW? Lets not forget that neither game is even released yet anyway.

Personally i'm happy with how nintendo games look. The wii and wii U were both terribly underpowered consoles and yet in both of those gens my favourite games visually were on nintendo consoles. This time nintendo is closer in power and i see less and less difference each gen.

I'm perfectly happy with the visuals we will get on the switch especially as a handheld. The only question is whether nintendo can provide enough quality experiences to make the switch worth it.

I'm glad to see it's not just me saying that now. Sony gave up on Japan in full the moment that they realized the Vita wouldn't capitalize off of the decent success of the PSP, something that was plain as day to me with regards to Sony, given how they positioned their console in the market. Japanese developers may sell internationally, but that doesn't mean they want to do that at the expense of their domestic market. And they're quickly running out of options to make that happen in any meaningful sort of way.

When they left, the relationships with those western studios collapsed, because those relationships were with those individuals, not with Nintendo. And it was that reason that control was centralized: to prevent a handful of people from being responsible for the company's success in America. Granted, that hasn't panned out too well for them in some ways.

This guy was so desperate to show people reacting negatively to the Switch he put Maxmillian's and Angry Joe's video in there, Max's who is cautiously optimistic at worst and Angry Joe's actually really positive.

Hell, I'm pretty sure the two really negative ones are just negatives for the sake of being negative, to the point of parody.

Hell, there IS some negatives videos about the Switch out there, but it's pretty clear this guy didn't actually watch any of those he listed.
