Nah, I reckon you're right on this one. I feel like if Smash is going to be here, if at all, it'll be mentioned in a slideshow of games being worked on. It'll just be a Smash Bros. logo.

It just struck me. There are lucky people that have the show today already, while we Europeans need to wait until tomorrow :( Please don't spoil as I want to watch it live with all the surprises.

I have a feeling that tonight is going to strictly be about the device, it's accessories and it's launch games followed by full coverage of the games tomorrow, a Feb Direct, a March Direct then E3 to cover games that come out later this year/next year.

Why are people saying that the Wii U version of Zelda won't launch until months later?

I think it makes more sense to launch at the same time. Especially if the Switch will be supply constrained. People not fortunate enough to get a Switch at launch could still pick up the Wii U version of Zelda to play while they wait for a restock.

the conference will be 5mins of quick facts and then 55 of SwitchMusic (wii music 2) with a 50min long solo from DJ Ravi Drums clearly... :D.

No seriously, I'm currently trying to figure a way to set my alarm for 4am so it will only wake me and thus I won't get rofflestomped by the missus for waking her up. I R EXCITE!

I'm hoping that what many have said as regards price, zelda, mario etc turn out true. I'm also praying for a VC subscription model just because that would be the most glorious of things imaginable to me.

Netflix + Nintendo VC sub = set for life! I will shut all the doors, close the blinds and see you all at the apocalypse.

Yeah I'm starting to think we're not going to have gigaton after gigaton at tonight's event since they have to save stuff for this years E3 so maybe tonight Nintendo will just focus on stuff releasing from march till probably, september, with a few teases for what they will release on the holidays, but only that, a tease.

If UK people like myself will be watching this on Friday 13th, is that a sign of bad omens coming not just for us but for the rest of Europe? I'd hate for Nintendo to release Switch titles in Europe where it'd be around 6-8 months after the US - Brawl & Super Paper Mario come to mind straight away. Whether or not they confirm release dates to a substantial amount or not, but I am someone who believes in the idea of natural good/bad luck.

Trying to come up with as many bits of bad [geographic] luck as possible so that I've got something to brace for.

I have been told Pre-orders / pre-sells will start the 13th at all retailers such as GameSpot, Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc.

As well as release date is March 17th worldwide.
