Went to a midnight Bestbuy launch here in Western MA. They had a shit ton of extra units!! There was a massive line when I areived and I thought I was screwed but I waited and now I have conquered! Goodbye world!! ✌️

Well, my pro controller from amazon jp says that it should be here monday, but the address is all fucked up and not what I put in the address. I live in astoria in ny, and it took out astoria and put woodside in two different random fields, but everything else looks ok.
Im scared to correct the address and have something go wrong with the delivery.

Managed to grab one of the new bundles from Gamestop online. Comes with Zelda and the controller. Couldn't be happier. I won't get mine tomorrow, but at least it should be on it's way by next week.

My Amazon order still says preparing, am I already dead?
Mine changed to Monday after it shipped even though I paid for 2 day (release date). CS basically told me "shut the fuck up and wait for Monday."
If it comes Monday thats Amazon Strike 3 for me in 2 months. They'll be refunding my Prime for the year if that happens; I'll make sure they don't have a choice.

Did you get an email from DHL about the delivery day? Maybe contact them that morning or Amazon if that fails. I got an email from DHL stating that they'd deliver on Monday and it might have to be signed.
If it changes to Monday on amazon, check the UPS site, because mine says this when I check it even though Amazon still says Monday.
I don't know what to believe... I'd like to think UPS is more accurate than Amazon but who knows. I agree though, Amazon better not fuck this up. They already cancelled my Master Edition without warning, and then this? If I don't get it tomorrow, I'm done with them. Especially after the interaction I just had with customer service where they offered me $50 as apology after telling me "just wait" and when I went "you don't get the issue, it's been set to arrive today for months and I paid for the shipping, I want my item today" they went PEACE within 10 seconds and didn't give me anything. They fucking suck.

I've relied on Amazon for years. I've used them as my primary source of many things via subscriptions.
Something started in January and I've had horrible reliability from them. Since this is about more than the Switch if they don't address it, I will move onto Chargebacks.
I don't like to Chargeback but they are failing to provide Prime service to me.

Fully aware. Some of the things I order from them are necessities. If they cannot provide proper service we're finished.
Capital One is really aggressive though and also frowns upon business who backlash on chargebacks.

Just have the one grey Switch with Amazon that I preordered the day it went live. Still prepping for shipment 19 hours before it says it's supposed to be delivered by. Talked to Amazon chat support and they told me the item won't ship because it's "unavailable". I don't know if he just didn't actually look into things or if I'm not getting my Switch, either way I'm a little upset I might not be playing BotW tomorrow.

Initially had three, two as backups. Good thing I did that because I could have potentially ended up with none. Any extras are going to coworkers at cost. Walmart put those neons up the other night, so I grabbed two more for coworkers that missed out, but I don't expect them to deliver.

I was told the last time I had this issue with them and my PSVR that they do not put the hold on the card until they've scanned your item through the warehouse so if thats true you should have a unit ready to go out.
Well I'm never going to a midnight launch at Best Buy again. I pre-ordered but there was only a single line for everyone, they only started organizing people into groups once you get inside the store (which took forever... 20 degrees windy weather, was freezing to death out there).
And once inside, the line for non pre-orders / walk-ins was moving significantly faster since they didn't have to look anybody up, check drivers licenses/CC's, do all that paperwork crap. For every one person in the pre-order line, like ten people in the walk-in line were being checked out at the same rate.
I finally check out at nearly 2:00 am and they were all out of Zelda posters. So kinda got screwed for pre-ordering. Meh, should've just went in the morning.

Good to know! I'm just super nervous. I had a friend snag me a Pro Controller and My Zelda Special Edition shipped through Best Buy, I really wish I could feel a little more secure about it arriving but it's good to hear stuff like this.
Yeah I'm nervous/annoyed too but confident that the only issue here is when it'll show up since the hold went through successfully.
Check Walmart, they had 10+ at a few of my local ones.
