My Xbox One S and PS4 Pro were both shipped UPS overnight for release day delivery, all my other Amazon preorders have arrived via USPS with my mail delivery.
Same for me if they ship via UPS, I have never gotten a UPS delivery the last few years before 4PM but usually closer to 6PM.
Yeah UPS is a crapshoot on delivery times. Sometimes they show up before noon mostly on non important shit. Then when its something I really want early somehow 5-6 pm it shows up

Too bad Zelda won't get here til the 3rd, still says to expect Switch on the 2nd.
I'm in the exact same boat. Looks like I'll just be playing Fast RMX all day.

It says 'one day' on mine. There was the email that went out saying we'd get an email with tracking on 3/2, so one day shipping should be release day.

Wait... there's no battery in the charging grip so it must be tethered at all times in order to charge? They couldn't just put this terrible idea into the standard grip?

They usually charge the day it ships. I would guess late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Only real way is to wait in line at Nintendo NY if you live in NY.
Apparently some Gamestops will be getting limited amounts to sell on launch day but I'm sure those'll be gone fast.
Should have really preordered on the night Jan 12 if you really wanted one at launch.

It won't happen. The boxes have stickers that say "Do Not Sell Before 3/3/2017" and their computers will stop them.

Not mine. I'm not worried though. I got my preorder almost as soon as they were available.
That won't happen until it's literally ready to pick up. Actually, maybe a couple hours before. But not until Thursday at the earliest.

This thread is making me watch my pre-order like a hawk......getting too anxious since it's so close! Majority of my items are still slated for March 3rd except for the Joy-Con Charging Grip and Pro Controller(from Amazon Japan) which are coming on the 7th.
Is the patch really not coming until the 3rd?
They have suggested it will be up before the 3rd but no direct timeline

Im in SoCal ordered the neon one still says pre ordered..I hope that best buy had enough neons for everyone that pre ordered since its such a limited quantity to begin with

I went to one of the more remote Best Buys in my area for the Wii U launch. I stood in a line outside while the store was open (starting at around 8pm). The store closed and about 30min before re-opening at midnight a rep walked out and handed out voucher sheets to people in line until there were no more. A lot of people behind me in line went home empty handed.
I can't where, but I read somewhere that stores are just going to stay open on Thursday through midnight, so I'm not sure how that changes things if true.

Sorry for something probably answered more than a few times but does the system come with both a USB-C cord and an AC adaptor?
Ac Adaptor with USB-C plug so can plug into dock or the switch itself

On another note, is anyone who has used Gamestop's One Day/Day One Delivery option in the past able to tell what method/carrier was used for shipping and roughly what time delivery was made in the day?
Hope I can get a pro controller on friday...Decided to keep my Switch pre-order despite thinking the price was absurd. Even if I wait until the holiday the price won't move more than $50 or include a game at the same price.
Wal-Mart opens at 5AM...Maybe I can get a pro controller. I don't know if they will have the actual stuff on the shelves or even in the electronics because previously they have checked new hardware out at different random locations. Target opens at 8AM and Toys R Us opens at 10am. Gamestop isn't even worth a thought because they receive extremely limited amounts of product compared to even a poor performing big box store.

You attach them to the Switch and charge the Switch.
The joy cons? You attach them to the switch hardware itself to charge or plug them into a charging grip.

Does this work also when it is in handheld mode and not only docked?
I've heard it will work as long as its plugged into a wall or PC.

I have read power can flow to the Joy Cons from the Switch in handheld mode but only if absolutely necessary (battery level reaches critically low levels on the Joy Con).
They will charge on wednesday most likely. Everything you see in regards to arrival date is just an estimation of when it is expected to arrive. I've had products arrive on release day without ever updating.
