WTF Amazon late and now my copy is unwrapped?????

No wrapper
No seal
Damaged case

UGH back to the chat to piss and moan.

Was there supposed to be anything besides the case in the disc?

Fuck me It's been 3 hours and I'm still on my first planet lol

Wanted to 100%'it but not sure its possible. That reward tho....

Also, found some upgrades but not any for inventory :(

I did the same thing, it's a very powerfull time sink and patience can give you VERY beautifull aswell. Yestarday i was on a archipelago planet with colorfull grass and tropical trees and a storm just start when i was looking for fuel on one of little island. It was amazing.

Anyways you can 100%´it, you'll just need time. I spent i think more than 1h30 finding the last animal. And those birds can be hard to scan.

Is there anything that can serve as a guide to finish the registry of a planet? I miss one but honestly I don't even know what is it.

Shame to leave when it's only one and the reward are 200k units....

Tried to buy the game 7 times through PSN after adding new Visa and it keeps telling me to check my transaction history. Anyone else experience this?

Yea, after 3 times you're likely locked out of purchasing anything for 24 hours. When I called them it had to do with my CC address and account address using Road VS abbreviated RD. Long story short, I went to bestbuy and bought physical.

Do you think swapping would solve the problem for everyone who may have the bug?

Probably, for most people. I think there were some on here who got no notification for the hyperdrive quest even though they swapped.

FWIW I jumped in the new ship once or twice, sat inside for a bit and then got the blue beacon marker. My old ship stayed nearby and didn't disappear like I thought it would.

Was just exploring (trying to get Units for a new ship) I came across a building I had to destroy the door of. Beat some sentinels and then got the blueprint inside.

O.o it was kind of random. saved ASAP rofl

That's how I found my antimatter blueprint actually. Game totally screwed up and when I scanned it popped on my radar but was actually on another planet.

Oh wow, I was doing some uploading and I realized that I jumped through a system discovered by someone else. I'm nowhere near the core (178k lightyears).

You get a reward for 100%ing a planet??

For identifying 100% of the animal life. When you have done that, click the button below the checklist to get a reward.

Also you can turn in and get a "reward" for planets with no animal life, you don't get any credits but that planet counts toward the "number of 100% planets" milestone.

so like 15 hours in and i've hyperjumped three times. but, I've discovered a
black hole
and I love how those aren't visible on the galactic map by default. :D

i'm on my third jump and I'm now exploring this planet that I named "watcher planet #1986" (don't ask about the name, it's an inside joke) and I've been here for the better part of the day.

this game man.....

Goddamn. I need to find the Suspension Fluid formula. Once you get that you'll never need to spend units again. You can basically make infinite warp cells.

Is it possible to board any of those large ships floating in space or am I wasting my time lol

Wasting your time.

Has anyone figured out if placement of upgrades next to each other makes things significantly better?

So far I'm not in love with the upgrade system in general. I have barely upgraded my suit and ship because I like inventory space too much.

Is there an easy way to scan/identify flying animals? I've ran into a couple but they are too high up for me to be able to scan for uploading.

AH IM SO HAPPY! I stumbled across a random trading outpost and found a terminal with zinc. I feel like someone who was dumped into the middle of the desert and has finally shambled his way onto a random highway and able to flag down the one passing truck. I'm going to now assume that every planet has a means to supply basic materials for ship repairs so that you cannot get stranded. It may take some time....but they're there.

Only gripes I have with this game are some of the annoying inventory things. Not enough space and I don't get why certain things don't stack, ie the bypass chips, gex charms, anti matter etc.

Those achievements where the black borders come in and crap. Really starting to hate that.

Flying around the planet. Doesn't feel right. My ship wants to go up and I just want it to fly straight. It's weird. Frame rate takes a pretty big hit at times I've noticed as well. That doesn't bother me so much anyway.

Can you still seek Atlas help? I decided to try and be hardcore and declined the Atlas help at the very beginning of the game, and while the game is still trying to unfold its intricacies to me, I think I still want more of a structured crash course to get me started.

I'm no longer on my original planet (I'm probably like 2-3 planets past it now) and it feels like my technological progress is slow as hell... Just wondering if the Atlas guidance would make me a much more structured and efficient player.

Haha I'm pleased you finally got some.

Every time I go to a planet without Fauna.

I havent played yet as I am waiting for PC version to unlock.....but listening to Sean they are definitely going to expand inventory again.

I ran across I believe it was a "steel plate" door and they seemed to imply it wasn't locked in the Atlas vX sense but that I could get through there somehow.

Is it just a matter of switching from a mining to destructive laser?

A lot of people asking this. They should
make it easier to scan birds.

Easiest way is to kill them and scan the body. But it def is possible to do it normally. I've managed to 3 times so far, took about 2-3 mins. Just have to use max zoom on the binos.

The door was destructible yea. Make sure you've crafted a Boltcaster and then press triangle to switch to it.

Suspension Fluid recipe is game changing, almost got full fuel on my hyper drive.

Yup. Didn't even need to make any and I did just because I could lol

Get closer and then zoom in on them which still makes it hard but it's just a matter or focusing on one of them for long enough. Or just shoot them down.

I'm having an issue that is screwing up my ability to progress.

So I found the Atlas monolith and it unlocked the "path towards waypoint" in the galactic map. So I warp to the star that it leads me to and check the map again. Now it is pointing me back to the star I just came from under the "path towards waypoint tab." I don't really want to spend hours fueling my warp drive just to go back and forth. Anyone have any pointers?
Also my planets no longer have a list of records for me to discover... Is this a server issue?

Yeah...I had to backtrack to get to one of the
Monoliths interface
, and it keeps wanting to backtrack me away from the core to get to another one >_>;

Is there a system in place that alerts you every time someone enters the system (or planets) you discovered? Would be neat to log in after work to a notification: "User1 has recently visited PlanetName!"

So uhh I've formed a "special relationship" with the Vy'keen by agreeing (unknowingly) to marry someone lol. I really hope that has some effect or call back at some point during my journey. This system I'm in is filled with Vy'keen, who at the moment, seem way more easier to handle than those damn Korvax. Who for the most part, are quite condescending lol. I finally got to the point where I was ready to move on and warp to a new system, but it was tough to leave since Gold was so plentiful and could be sold at a really high mark up within the trading posts of this one Vy'keen occupied planet. Glad I moved on though as it seemed I advanced the story some (can't really tell at times since I chose the 'explore freely' option).

Can't wait for it to open up even more as I really want to ally with the Vy'keen when given the oppurtunity. Game is just everything I wanted right out of the gate.

Guys I'm on like my 6th star system and I've still never found anything to upgrade my suit inventory with

They were all over my starting planet. They are randomly in all the '?' waypoints.

Have yet to leave my starting planet, since I am upgrading the hell out if things and finding cooler weapons.

Have yet to find Atlas passes though. I may have early on, and have an idea where they are near my ship, but my inventory was full 5 hours previous.

Loving the game. What could happen/be is really driving my exploration. Quick question: Can you return to previous systems?

Yes.

..How is that planet not rotating? It's just that the moons have the same orbital period that the planet has rotational period.

Science reminder: The earth rotating is what makes the sun move across the sky once per day.
Science reminder: those aren't moons.

Jupiter doesn't stay fixed in the sky as the Earth rotates.
