Oh? Did the codes go out?
yea, was in my Promotions tab in Gmail. glad i didn't accidentally delete it lol

And to make antimatter.Zinc is required to fix the Pulse Engine.
This isn't a hoarders game, and I really like it. The game would be void of challenge if you could stack everything. Bypass chips, sure I get that. However, limited inventory is a core part of this experience. If I could hoard elements, I could farm for an hour then never have to worry about warp cores ever again.
I need zinc to repair the pulse engine. What is kinda shitty is that I have my launch thruster repaired but it won't let you lift off without repairing your pulse engine too. Doesn't really make sense. I did find one beacon but it sent me to an outpost with only a blueprint. No terminal.
But maybe one of those will have the ship that worked where it was before it de-spawned. I was under the impression your ships stay wherever they were parked even if you had to fly back to it on a space station or whatever.
Got over with my warp drive tutorial and wanted to claim my preorder Ship.
Where can I find it? I see my LE Stuff in the Bonus Content Menu, but no ship.
there is a fine balance though man, I think some of the complaints with the way things stack are valid. It is in the patch notes that they plan to further extend the inventory space, so they must realise that it is slightly too limited the way it is. Before the day one patch the space/stacks were HALF what they are now, imagine how that would have gone down lol.
I think I'm fucked. I dove down onto a planet after getting chased by space pirates and ended up distracted by some cool stuff down there, including finding a crashed ship that was much better than my own. I transfer all my things over to it thinking I have everything to repair it with and then it comes down to zinc. No zinc. This planet is a barren mess. I cannot find zinc anywhere. I lost my other ship in this process (it actually looks to have despawned since I last loaded into the game). What am I going to do...? I cannot find zinc anywhere. There are no plants with zinc, no animals on this planet to help me find zinc, and I have yet to see any outposts or trading posts to find a terminal. What the hell should I do? My two most recent saves are both me stuck with this broken ship.
I thought that too, but I can't seem to find it anywhere since loading back into the save. It appears to have despawned. I can try to look again, but I'm quite far from the original landing spot and it's really hard to navigate on this lifeless rock. Although this sucks, it's also pretty neat from a new sense of gameplay.
They even wrote that they'll likely increase it in the future, so yeah. However, now that I'm further into the game, space isn't the same issue at all, anymore. It's a rewarding feeling.
yes. When I reach the system with the annomaly (which I assume is the first Atlas station). 5 crashes out of 5 tries, ill try again later in the week then bring it back to EB games.
I can't get over the terrible FOV of the game, it's so bad.
Is the protagonist some sort of bobblehead alien?

For real, it breaks the inmersion and kind of ruins the nice vistas of the worlds, having that "handgun" so close to the camera, no arms, totally cropped fov.
Weird.
I am 20 hours + into it and only just got a new ship and a couple more suit slots lol, so I guess it depends how your discoveries go as to how well you can cope with the limits, and how big those limits are. Must be hard to balance such a huge project and keep people mostly happy without changing it too much.
There is a FoV slider in the PC version.I think the FOV is that close for one reason is to try to hide whatever the character is
Your character is most likely not a human, the grunts while the character tries to catch its breath is not human, I think the FOV is that close for one reason is to try to hide whatever the character is
When you find an abandoned ship, does the item transfer process take place after accepting it?
There is a FoV slider in the PC version.
You transfer and dismantle stuff at the compare screen, then accept the new ship
Mine was under Options menu, discoveries, at bottom, redeem stuff option.
Pretty sure the patch notes state they removed rotation because playtesters would get disorientated.
So have been on the planet you start on for about 6hrs now. There's gold etc everywhere, I have managered to get 480,000 credits. Is it worth staying on here as it has loads of stuff to harvest still or move on to a new planet? (I am getting a little bored of the place).
How did you get this?! It's like a game changer right there!YESSS
Suspension Fluid recipe found and it's only 50 carbon!
It's apparent from the timelapse posted in the screenshot thread that planets don't rotate. That's a real shame.

What does the red symbol on the bottom right of the screen mean?
Full inventory
When it comes to selling artifacts and trade items, Kotaku just posted there is one type you want to hold onto and not sell:
Atlas stones
Thank fck I don't have the ship redeem bug. Just found a crashed ship, swapped for it, climbed in and got the quests for the hyperdrive blueprint.

All planets in a system orbit and rotate exactly the same...How is that planet not rotating? It's just that the moons have the same orbital period that the planet has rotational period.
Science reminder: The earth rotating is what makes the sun move across the sky once per day.
