Yes, GAF is completely out of touch with what the average gamer wants, but this isn't exactly new info.
at least 4 of these 9 countries aren't buying the upgrade path, but the full game instead.
Booted it up today and it looks poor in comparison to FW. Will gladly take the upgrade to get it up to par with those visuals.I like the Horizon games and I don't want this. The PS5 did a good enough job running the version that existed.
Enough people that they keep getting made.Who plays lego games?
did you even read the post?Bruh you about to summon the horde . Not surprised these games aren't on top any pre-order lists because I haven't seen or hear nobody ask for them. I don't recall seeing a single thread or comment asking for either of those two games. I've seen a lot of people ask for Killzone and Socom.
Concord was topping pre-order charts at some point and look how that turned out
Not saying that Horizon Remaster and Lego will bomb, but using the pre-order charts to prove a point is kinda retarded.
lol this is how desperation looks likeThat is page two
They don't need to be #1 to be wildly successful.Bruh you about to summon the horde . Not surprised these games aren't on top any pre-order lists because I haven't seen or hear nobody ask for them. Well, it's topping page two then. lmaoThat is page two
Both of them will bomb IMO, Lego game probably less.
Data from PS store?
It's pretty obvious they are promoting their games here, not very objective list.
If we are talking about OP, it's page one:
When I logged in with my account that has the PS4 games already:
When I logged and browsing as a visitor:
They are conflating the two prices for the same SKU, you don't know whether people are buying upgrade or full game just from the storefront page.
Complete guesstimate but I'd expect that to be 90% upgrade, but I guess Sony would prefer that 90% full price as they'd make more money that wayI think it's funny that your post is so overlooked.
At least for the Horizon Remaster, it clearly shows that we cannot make any call about how many bought it for 49,99 and how many used the upgrade path.
This meme should definitely be the opposite. Horizon dislikers are the clear minority in this situation lol.
I've said it before in other threads, but normies are the main audience for Horizon. There is definitely an audience for these games, mostly kids for the LEGO games and people who haven't played the previous games for these remasters. But I can't get excited about these games because I'm not their audience.
Here you have some top countries more:Top preorders
This thread was born of desperation.lol this is how desperation looks like
There has been topics created based on pre-orders from that same store to trash other games. No one said a thing about "desperation" on those. You say that about this one because it goes against something you want to happen. As simple as that. This thread was born of desperation.
We have a bunch of Sheldons who can't detect the sarcasm quotes in the title. Are people not realizing that the OP is claiming the Horizon games are actually selling well so far?
Did the title confuse people here?
The upgrade for this is a nobrainer for those with the base game. If you have it you even get to convert it into the Complete Edition with the meaty Frozen Wilds DLC included. So you get the Remaster plus all DLC for that 10 bucks price.I didn't really want this but for just €10 I'm gonna get it as a showcase for my ps5. Plus it's been years since I played it.
As opposed to? Playstation 5 has had a great year of releases. All that's telling me is that PS5 adopters are starved for sony game releases.
The difference between this thread and those other threads is that they aren't usually created as a defense mechanism. There has been topics created based on pre-orders from that same store to trash other games. No one said a thing about "desperation" on those. You say that about this one because it goes against something you want to happen. As simple as that.
So they were listening to "data" when they made Concord and Outlaws and suicide squad ? ... I personally think their "data" system is completely broken this gen.. and listening to gamers, even neogaf incels, just a little probably would be a good thing.Companies listen to data, not NeoGAF. Who would guess..
I prefer not to pay full price to beta test games for 6-12 months while they clean up bugs and sharpen the overall perfomance, but thats just me. To each their own.Why wouldn’t you?
-There’s usually incentives offered
-Pre-launch Hype!
-To be organised and ready for day 1
-You have the money ready
The only reason not to would be if you weren’t planning on getting it day one in which case it’s irrelevant.
It is still pretty high up there so... and how much influence would MS have had on this year's COD? I think they will let Activision run things as they have been so far when it comes to COD.More interesting is that its not top of every list just a couple of weeks out from release. It's the one of (most of the time THE) best selling game every year, lets see if Microsoft can fuck this up.
I was thinking that too.People act like everyone had a ps4 and everyone would buy an older game. At one point I believe Sony announced about half of the ps5 owners were new to PlayStation. They probably just bought HFW first and are now grabbing HZD now that it’s a ps5 release.
First time on Gamepass. I know nobody is rushing out and buying an xbox for "free" COD but with the offer also on PC it has to have some sort of effect, even a little bit. Lots of folks have more than one platform already. It is still pretty high up there so... and how much influence would MS have had on this year's COD? If I'm gonna replay a 7 year old game, I'd gladly pay $10 to play it with current visuals (not just resolution). If I'm playing a 7 yr old game for the first time, I'm glad I can play a version with current visuals. The state of gaming where so many people are willing to splash out money for a remaster of a 7 year old game...
