I really thought I was just getting too old for this shit, but apparently iOS 26 is having some major issues with its keyboard. Wrong letters appearing, autocorrect is having hallucinations and so on.

Anyone else ran into those problems?

I moved to Apple ecosystem with the iPhone 13 and the worse part about moving from Android is that AWFUL keyboard.

I'm on iOS 26 using Gboard, and it's completely broken with the eBay app. Not sure who's to blame though as Gboard on iOS has always been kinda buggy across several recent versions anyway.

This, I find it extremely hard nowadays to type... anything really on Android lately.

Google keyboard btw on Android 16 - not that the Samsung is that much better tbh...

iOS 26 initially broke something in touch detection, not just the keyboard. First time since iPhone OS 1.0. They seem to have gradually been fixing it.

I don't use ios, but can you not install a 3rd party keyboard? On android I use SwiftKey, which I would recommend.
