It makes enough sense to have Prime represent the 3D subset. Similar to Solid for Metal Gear. That the GBC Metal Gear ended up with Solid in the title outside of Japan is a silly quirk.

I think the Metroid ad was a good move, Metroid is cool man


I also think they could have put a nice 'GBA backwards compatible' logo somewhere in a corner so that people can see that it's backwards compatible, there should be stuff about this on the back of the box at least though.
