Vita is an astonishing little system. I'm glad it's alive because despite these numbers Sony is somehow managing to get it supported by a colorful array of appealing titles, but this is surely the end of Sony's gaming dedicated handheld hardware attempts. And Nintendo won't be far behind them there if the downward trajectory of the gaming dedicated handheld hardware sector continues to decline.

Well Sony sadly has to do what is good for Sony at this point. They are already discontinuing other products, selling off brands and doing layoffs. Vita might keep going for a little while longer but 2015 has to be end.

Based on recent precedent, I'd make an educated guesstimate of <70K for Wii U, and <30K for Wii.

Very pleased with the chart overall. Dark Souls 2 is on there at a respectable position, I feel like the series is more in for the long run, PC sales and probable PS4/XB1 version will keep it going.
Titanfall, a new IP, selling well as it deserves.
Infamous, one of the few true next gen games doing solid, especially for just one platform.
Both new consoles selling more than last gen by a decent margin.

This right here. I don't even own a vita (3ds atm) but I wanted one of the new ones... seems like an A+ handheld.

Frankly, I would be ecstatic if I sold 10,000 products. That's a pretty big number, isn't it? Ten thousand. A thousand is a whole lot of things, and ten of those? Amazing.

The vita is a hyper niche enthusiast device by now. Anyone in the market to buy one is going to be waiting for the 2k.
Not that there's very many of these, I'd be surprised if it was over 30k per month, but I can't think of ANY reason to buy a vita right now over the 2k.
