We're approaching the Holidays, and Wii U had a game last month (Wii Party U), unlike in September.
Basically what I expected for Wii U.
November is the true test.
Using 55K for Wii U.
Super Hedgehog Galaxy < 30k (2 platforms)
PS3.NPD becoming so irrelevant, they can't even be bothered to show the top 5 in consoles these days. Would be nice to know at least who came in 3rd, PS3 or Wii U.
any beyond numbers ?
For all I know Wii Party U is only as big as W101.
any beyond numbers ?
Black Friday sure saved the vita last year, didn't it?
Hint: black Friday sales only work for products people actually want to buy
any beyond numbers ?
Isn't there a Mario bundle coming? Or is that for EU only?

How many true tests are there...
I wouldn't say it's the true test. I'd be tempted to say its the penultimate test, with Mario Kart being the last chance to turn things around if things haven't already improved over the holiday.
Vita actually sold really well last Black Friday (for Vita at least). The Assassin's Creed bundle was heavily discounted for the weekend.

So ...
Hardware Sales:
3DS: 452K
Xbox 360: 166K
PS3: ~110k
WiiU: ~55k
Wii: ~35k
PSV: ~25k
Software Sales
GTAV = 1.1m
Pokemon X & Y = 1.7m
Sonic Lost World <= 30k
Beyond 2 Souls - 120 - 125k
Angry Birds Star Wars = 3DS = 3.4k; Vita = 0.4k
What other info do we have atm?
300k thru March? Come on.So maybe about 300k to 400k Wii Us sold till next fiscal year...😐
Lets be honest, the market has already rejected this machine and the two new systems haven't even been released yet.

Is the Vita getting bundles this year again?
Those Sonic sales are for both versions.
So maybe about 300k to 400k Wii Us sold till next fiscal year...
There's still gonna be Smash afterwards. And an unlimited amount of ,,wait for next Direct/conference/new Miyamoto IP''...
And I assume the hope will die last for some.
I don't really understand why people expect Remote Play to help the Vita much. I mean, there's another console that does something very similar (for less money) and we all know how much it sells...
What? No. Probably 300k - 400k next month, maybe 600k in December, and then back to rock bottom for the rest of the fiscal year.
100k in November,150k in December and then the remaining till March. But you're right, that might be too high.300k thru March? Come on.
November? Launch month for the ps4 and xbone? If it makes it above 100k it will be a miracle.
W101 size bomba
*tears*
Don't think the new baseline post holidays will be any higher? If it's not then dear God...What? No. Probably 300k - 400k next month, maybe 600k in December, and then back to rock bottom for the rest of the fiscal year.
While most people here probably don't want to hear this, instead of putting out 3D World, they should have been crunching to get Mario Kart out now instead. That's a game people would pay money for. It was constantly in the top 5 NPDs for years after it's release.
less than 20k for launch month iircDid we ever get an estimate of that?
sub-100k in November? No fuckin way. Only possibility of that happening is if retailers have really lost THAT much confidence in the system and just have no stock, and I can't imagine Nintendo would let it get to that point. There's no way demand would be sub-100k, at least, especially during the holidays with a new EAD Tokyo Mario game.
If it did happen, I have no clue who Nintendo would react. It would be a disaster unlike anything we've seen with the console before.
Funny guy.100k in November,150k in December and then the remaining till March. But you're right, that might be too high.
These guys are smoking something. That possibility isn't even worth considering.sub-100k in November? No fuckin way. 101 is less than 20k but very very close.
less than 20k for launch month iirc
it pained me to go back and look up this quote
I hope you're happy, Papercuts. You have done this to me.
