Yeah man. Microsoft is trying really really hard to outdo them in terms of everything - sales, popularity, i.e. critical/commercial success.
xbone got Ps4 one week last month and there's NOTHING for christmas coming out on Ps4 that can compete with halo.
halo is the 3rd or 4th most iconic video game franchise of all time behind mario and pokemon and maybe zelda. the halo collection
(which, by the way, lemme get into a rant real quick about remastered games... every time there is a new gen console out, are they always gonna keep doing like remasters? we had the halo 1 anniversary come out last gen and it was supposed to be a big deal. and now they have that re-remastered for the xbone along with the other 3 halos. so when we have our Xbox 2, is there gonna be like a 4K halo anniversary/collection/whatever?
and that's a thing with Ps4 games too - gow, jak n dax, beyond two souls, tekken tag tournament.... which is the only one I ever bought. and it's tekken tag remastered hd, the Ps4 is HD not 4K HD, i wanna be able to play that shit on my Ps4 but I CAN'T coz it's a PsTHREE game on a Blu Ray disc. I suppose they could just release it on the P.S Store on Ps4 to download and play it like that but that would mean legitametely paying for it TWICE for the same product... TTTHD for Ps3 and then TTTHD for Ps4 even though it's the exact same game.
It made sense when I got it for Ps3 because at least there there was the HD difference plus it came with a demo for TTT2 and the movie which was Tekken Hybrid, but there would be 0 difference if I were playing the game on Ps4. UNLESS, it's TTTHDONLINE... yeah. That would be sweet and worth paying for again)
will most definitely have the xbone outsell the Ps4 in December and effectly close the gap by a LOT if not completely close it, and then begin overlapping with the Ps4 starting next year. I'm calling it.

Think we would need stats of EA Access game sales to make statements like this as fact. But either way, EA games are still going to continue on doing well on the PS4. The userbase is too big and many people don't own two same gen consoles.

Speaking of, we have a minimum 3DS number ("more than 140K") and then a % increase over August. The % increase leads to 141K, so that's what I plan on using for predictions unless something better comes up. On Wii U, we have "almost 50%" increase. 40% would be ~83K and 50% would be ~89K. Therefore, planning on going with 85K for predictions, again, unless something better comes up.
