AJ vs Nakamura was match of the year?
It was at that time, yes. Wrestle Kingdom 10. No wait... There is a possibility that it wasn't because was thinking that WK10 was at the end of 2015 but actually it was 4th Jan 2016 (bad of me to forget as I had the opportunity to go there but couldn't due to other commitments). I need to check up again to see if it really knocked off by another match but as far as I am aware, it wasn't until early this year it was really knocked off.
🐐intro 😎 He didn't need to say anything and still got an ovation
Shane vs Shinsuke hype

Wasn't even the best match on the show, wasn't even the 2nd best match on the show.
Hell, I don't even think it's a top 5 NJPW match from last year.
Wk 10 was Jan 4 2015
And even at the time many consider the main event , Okada vs Tanahashi to the better macth. Still a excellent match ,it definitely in the top 5 match of that year.
Naw you are right , and Tanahashi is super awesome , probably the greatest wreslter of this generation. I can't wait to meet him up G1 special USA.It was praised as the match of the show. So I guess I agree with half of what you said.
Wow. I guess my memories are screwed up.
Oh yes, I met both Takahashi and Okada last weekend. Takahashi is super kind! I really enjoyed the fun - but light - wrestling event they pulled off. I took some high res pics of them in action. I wanted to take a movie but I had NJPW staff eyeing me from behind so it was dangerous for me to take any footage.
Lets see how he gets over with casual fans
Agreed, it wasn't anything truly great but it was a good show.Wasn't even the best match on the show, wasn't even the 2nd best match on the show.

?Thanks for the spoiler....
?
Live sporting event? And newsworthy? Literally on the front page of YouTube? Trending worldwide on Twitter?
Having Nakamura v Miz possibly be the first program is dope. Miz won't hurt him and will be a good intro program.
To be fair, it's not a sporting event. It's an episodic TV show. If people can kick off about, say, GoT being spoiled before it airs in their region, they can complain about this too.?

Come on OP, what's wrong with you? This hasn't aired on the West Coast yet, thanks for ruining the surprise.
Spoilers are fair game as soon as the show is on/over so it's fair game.Come on OP, what's wrong with you? This hasn't aired on the West Coast yet, thanks for ruining the surprise.
Did he cut a promo? How was it?
In thread titles, as soon as it's aired exclusively on the East coast of the USA? Cooooooool.Spoilers are fair game as soon as the show is on/over so it's fair game.
I think he's closer to 6'2", he's basically the same height as Triple H
Yup! Although maybe putting Nakamura in the title was a bit much I admit. But as soon as something's aired its fair game, I still remember this happening after almost every single episode of LOST and people getting pissedIn thread titles, as soon as it's aired exclusively on the East coast of the USA? The tears when he gets put on Raw next week.
Yes cause we matter more

Really? I was unaware of this! I'll remember that for the future lolIt's not fair game to post anywhere on GAF beyond the official threads.
Dude's the closest thing to a real life JoJo character
If I can wish anything to make that feud even more epic, I want them to Main Event the next Wrestlemania (or at least Summer Slam) for the WWE Championships (one that AJ must win) and - a person can dream - AJ Styles uses his I AM I AM persona (please keep the hair but get it done by an Asian hair stylist like when he was here in Japan) complete with his original awesome I am I am theme song and the debut of his ultimate finisher, Spinal Tap. of course, the Spinal Tap must only be used on selected individuals and key big event moments:
He isn't that tall. I say closer to 6.
Yeah I don't get the "that's it?" comments. The crowd reaction alone was more than enough.Unbelievable moment last night, the fact that it was done in front of a smark-filled SD Live crowd just made it all the better.
You can't spoil a live event once it already happened.
He's pretty clearly ~6'2", barely shorter than Okada who's 6'3"
GAF OT is basically a news site. If you're avoiding Twitter, should you probably avoid GAF as well.Sigh. Fuck sake. I avoid all wrestling related sites, twitter, youtube etc in anticipation of cool Smackdown surprises. I click on Neogaf offtopic just once and get this. I was literally just about to start watching Smackdown. Fuck sake.

Funny, I just watched this match. That move looks so dangerous, how does he do it.
