I hope there's a mountain of ethics and accountability laws passed when these dopes vacate. It shouldn't take this long to sink a president as he's ruining the Earth.

In this political climate, it's not surprising that there isn't bipartisan impeachment efforts happening. But at the same time, the FBI and Special Council do actually want to build an airtight case of collusion. The facts need to line up and make sense.

OK so based on an ABC article I read it looks like the pertinent statute is:

“No person shall knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation…,” according to 11 CFR 110.20 (g). The contribution can be “anything of value,” and that includes the sharing of negative information about a political opponent.
