On XSX, Performance mode has a very very respectable IQ and ran perfectly at 60fps in the sewers and prison, and so far also outdoors in the little bit I've played.

In Quality mode, the resolution is higher, but it does show some stuttering.

The game looks surprisingly good and beautiful, and it features extreme Nanite usage, even in vegetation.
It seems like UE5 is getting better and better on consoles!

You will have people comparing it to the original. Pointing out flaws. Could bring out negativity more often than not. This was announced and released today and is probably by now, the best selling game of the year so far. I think for remasters/remakes, this is the way to go.

Imo this remake was greenlit basically as a tech test for ES6. Devs have done stuff like that before (Quake 2 on 360).

And i actually hope i'm right because i would be more than happy with ES6 atleast mattching this level of graphics.

Now that Obilivion Remake is a reality, there's no reason not to remake Fallout 3

Just get gamepass ultimate pc for a month and play it via xcloud.

I am assuming it will be gamepass day 1 + play anywhere so you can play on Xbox/pc with cloud saves.

Seems to be another play anywhere title. So if you purchase Xbox version you have got PC copy as well.

Game runs fantastic on my computer as well, except for when I entered the open world. Also no raytraced reflections ??? The Animations framerate goes down at a near distance Watching the guards fight the assasins looked so off when it was so cool.

I remember so little about the game yet I love it. Remade my old character basically.

Agreed. I am guessing only one or two threads are used to compile shaders. My cooler on a 9800x3D spun up for about 5 seconds then usage came way down unlike other game shader comps (e.g. COD).

Apparently performance in the open world on PS5 base and pro on performance mode is pretty bad. I'm waiting for DF or someone else to cover this before I drop $75 on it.
