October Wrasslin' |OT| Dia de los Mil Muertes

Aiii

So not worth it
Uh-oh, Dato. Mafia just crashed on me at the end of a cutscene. Experience such a thing?

By the way I'm watching this tonight . Should I watch the entire thing or is Ospreay match only one that warrants a watch?
If you're already a PROGRESS fan, yes. But if not, it's two parts so it's about 7 hours long with a few low spots which can drag.

In that case, every Ospreay match as he goes though the tournament, and the tag team match with the Riots are the must sees.

edit: Awesome seeing Jack Gallager now after enjoying him so much at CWC, I hope he does the spot he did with Tozowa eventually.

I disagree with SG about TLOU, but that's because those types of games aren't for me. What I do agree with him on are tank controls being fucking terrible. They stop me from enjoying all the RE games, including 4.

Weren't the controls intentionally like that (at least in the first one) to scare you as you tried to get away from zombies?

I have no dog in this hunt as neither series has ever particularly interested me, but I thought the idea (again, at least with the first game) was that RE was a horror game, so the terrible controls were just another facet to enhance that feeling.

It sure worked with me when I was trying to get away from that first zombie. That remains a vivid memory twenty years on. I doubt it would with normal controls.

RE4's controls (and I would hesitate to even call them "tanky") are perfect because everything about the game is designed around them. This is something that RE5 and especially RE6 got completely wrong.

No, I disagree about six, that game is clearly designed around those controls. They do an awful job of explaining them, that's the real problem.

Also the plot is dumb and not in a fun RE way.

I've heard that about 6 before, but it's never made a whole lot of tense to me given how tangent the gameplay is between Chris and Leon's campaign. And wasn't Jake's campaign very heavily focused on stealth?

As for the plot, you're absolutely right. It hurts me how bad the Leon character is in 6 compared to 4.

Just finished watching Final Deletion IV

Matt Hardy might have just edged out AJ for WOTY

AJ still has time to get back in the race tho

Somewhat Groovy getting worked into a wibbly wobbly aimed shoot.
TLOU is one of Naughty Dog's best games, I mean it's not quite Jak and Daxter 1 but it at least has the shooting and brawling down to a competent degree compared to the spongy Uncharted equivalents (can't judge 4). Gun sights waver seeing that your're playing an average Joe (ohoho), shots cause enemies to *gasp* recoil, going for the melee stuff requires considering if you can successfully throttle or wallop a dude to bits before anyone else comes along so that side of things is pretty good.
It's more that outside of that the game is like a kleptomaniac simulator with some not at all thrilling ladder/plank moving segments and just walking along which really sticks out on a replay when you actively know jackshit is gonna go down and that the game works in a noticeably segmented way. That and it fears doing any actual escort mission with its escorting character so Ellie is just inexplicably invisible to enemies and that's plain bizarre.
Stealth is simply okay, not bad but it doesn't offer much options to be any more enjoyable then "let me just crouch walk everywhere, mah fuckin' back aches!"

Arguable B plus player but not any more than that.

Just be glad I'm too short on cash this PPV to put any money down. AJ Styles' head might have fallen off mid-match or something.

Smackdown really can't afford any injuries. Especially not their hottest female star. Hope Becky's okay (and I really hope she didn't get popped).

And if you were, hypothetically, to wager on No Mercy, what site would you use?

PaddyPower. I got an offer for some free bets from my phone company a few months ago and stuck with them. I only place small-money real bets though, £5-10. I'm not going to bankrupt myself over something like wrasslin'.

Alexa is still tweeting like the match is happening currently.

But I guess they acted like Randy was still wrestling when he wasn't cleared.

Friends. Probably not watching No Mercy tomorrow night, because I need to see what the fuck is going to happen at the town hall debate.
