Due to popular demand, the old title format has returned. Keyser Soze, unfortunately, has not. The September class of the Hall of Shame will be edited in shortly.

If you told me I would enjoy Mark Henry promos more than CM Punk promos back in July, I would have split my own wig.

This month kicks off with a bang (or potential whimper) since the plain bizarre WWE ppv schedule has already reached it's next station, tomorrow gentlemen we enter Hell! Though in this case hell isn't the cell. Worth reminding some folks that the ppv is coming up since it could be easily forgotten.

Looking at our lovely line up so far, fresh from a whopping two week build up....

WWE Hell In A Cell, October 2nd

Kelly Kelly Vs Beth Phoenix
The plot is supposed to be "Can Kelly overcome the Glamazon?" but the reality is "Can Beth Phoenix overcome the devastating rollup pin?". The one thing i'm wondering right now is when the hell does Natlaya get her shot in this whole "Divas of doom" thing?

Sheamus Vs Christian
The Great White clashes against The Great Whine, should be fun I guess. One would assume that the winner here would go onto being a fixture in the barren SD title scene. I'm not sure if I can take ONE MORE MATCH from Christian though.

Sin Cara Vs Sin Cara
or
Misticara Vs Hunicara
The greatest feud in WWE right now, you know this to be true. Pick the side which you believe botches less and prepare yourself for a spectacular showdown of snappy finger pointing, rapid head shaking and fan bewilderment. Or it could be a botch fest of gargantuan proportions.

World Heavyweight Championship Heck in the Cell Match
Mark Henry Vs Randy Orton

As indicated by the thread title, last month wigs were indeed split as Mark Henry thwarted the master of the out of nowhere RKO. But now the feud has reached a boiling point where it can only be contained inside the Cell! or more accurately, at this ppv title matches have to use the cell so lets just pretend the feud has escalated to such a level.

WWE Championship Triple Threat Big Cage blocking the view match
John Cena Vs CM Punk Vs Alberto Del Rio

The events of Summerslam seem to finally have been addressed by lobbing these three in the cell so that they may do battle, will ADR know the name of his car? Will Punk make things fun again? Will Cena overcome the odds?
Yes
.
What was once a pipe dream only accessible through WWE games we can now finally witness a triple threat HIAC match, which possibly makes it 33.3% more barbaric than a one on one version.

Also expect shenanigans revolving around the COO HHH and his dastardly rogues gallery of Nash, Awesome Truth and the ever so shady John Lara-something or other.

Lineup is looking pretty bare right now so expect some impromptu matches possibly tag team matches setup by Teddy Long.

Interesting news from last night's FCW show (WWE's development fed). Kota Ibushi was apparently in attendance. Could the Golden Star be WWE bound?

large.jpg

EDIT: OK, turns out it's not Kota Ibushi. It's actually Taishi Takizawa from K-DOJO.

Woah. That would be pretty damn amazing. Isn't Kota's shoulder busted up?

Still can't believe they ever passed on Morishima when he had a try-out, yet were perfectly happy to employ Husky Harris or Brodus Clay

Supposedly, yes. I heard he was out of action for the next month or so. WWE has given tryouts to a bunch of Japanese wrestlers last year, including some Dragon Gate guys, but nothing ever came out of it. So we'll see what lies ahead for Ibushi soon, I guess.

Finally a return to form. End of a doofus era.

I would also like to comment on all my imitators, you will never point with as much charisma as me.

Starting this Saturday on Sinclair Broadcasting affiliates nationwide, the 2nd episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” makes its premiere with two huge match-ups, including a World TV Title Bout!

First up, Jimmy Jacobs makes his return to ROH competition for the first time in two years as he takes on “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett in singles competition. Jacobs has spent the last few months sponsoring Steve Corino throughout Steve’s battles with Bennett, but now it’s Jacobs who must step into the ring with the self-proclaimed “greatest sports entertainer in ROH”.

Then, in his first defense, El Generico will put the ROH World TV Title on the line against Jay Lethal! Generico captured his first ROH singles title at “Best in the World 2011”, the same event in which Lethal made his long-awaited return to Ring of Honor in victorious fashion. Now these two fan favorites will collide over the TV Title and the honor of representing ROH on SBG TV!

OK, turns out it's not Kota Ibushi. It's actually Taishi Takizawa from K-DOJO. They look almost identical from some angles.

I can't beleive there's another PPV tonight. And they wonder why buyrates are down?! The matches at HIAC should be good, but the result of the main event will make or break it for me. I am so sick of Cena with the belt. I homestly thought that after Punk's tirades, it might have been the last we'd seen of Cena in the title picture for a while. The fact that he robbed Del Rio of a sufficient first run is a terribly sad decision. I just know he's gonna overcome the odds tomorrow night. :(

Also, are we sure the Otunga stuff has any connection to the Nash stuff? As much as I'd like to see some huge rebellion storyline, with or without a new nWo, I think there are seperate "lawsuit" and "conspiracy" storylines. I haven't been watching. Has Otunga appeared on Smackdown in his lawyer gimmick at all?

@JamieOD, Is Your avatar an Earthbound Sin Cara?! Too awesome.

Yesterday's Smackdown had Otunga and company wih Laurinitis talking, saying they're going to do "it" on Monday, whatever that is. And the PPV is tomorrow.

Oh, that's awesome then. Sweet. A potentially interesting storyline. Now, let's watch it go to shit.

Trips gets taken to court, Otunga for the prosecution and heels in the jury. Nash and Awesome Truth giving testimony
Enter John Cena: Ace Attorney for the defense with surprise witness out of nowhere Randy Orton, comes complete with evidence...out of nowhere.
Court ends with Cena's music

As an Ace Attorney fan, I find this incredibly insulting.

I like how with real Sin Cara you can see his intensity and anger even with a mask on, just by the way the veins were popping out of his neck. I was hoping this match was going to be inside a cage, but unfortunately it isn't.

Also, 2nd set of ROH tapings are tonight. Hopefully they greatly increase the production values. I don't think these are actually going to air on tv for 3 more weeks though.

At the least, the lighting should be better, as the Davis Arena is a good venue for TV, but if you're expecting some sweeping improvements to the overall production of the show, I'm willing to bet you'll be left disappointed.

A couple of good matches announced for the tapings, namely
The American Wolves vs Roderick Strong & Michael Elgin
and
The Young Bucks vs The Bravados
, although I'm not looking forward to
Lethal vs Bennett for the TV title. I'm not at all sold on Bennett, he's pretty dull.

Love the thread title.

Gets directly to the point of Anal Bleeding which is so important to our society today.

And I'm ready for Cara/Cara. Please WWE don't fuck this up as you seem to do constantly.

Yeah, you're probably right. They have announced they are going to be doing sit down interviews and tweeted a pic:

Cornette loves the hate on Bennett. In a company where there aren't really many heels, Bennett is probably the most hated.
