So I'm going to Hawaii to see my brother on Tuesday. Round trip, I'm gonna be on a plane for about 18 hours or so. Do you guys recommend I buy that fancy new version of The Death of WCW for my Kindle? Even if I read the original book when it first came out?

And are there any amazing wrestling or video game podcasts? I listen to most of the Austin and JR podcasts and I like them. If there's something that focuses on the '90s (and is good), that would be cool. As for video games, I've never listened to anything so if there's a really great episode or whatever that you know of, shoot -- I haven't heard it.

John Morrison left WWE in November of 2011 and has kept pretty silent since his departure. Morrison spoke to Chris Jericho on “Talk is Jericho” this past week and talked about why he left WWE.

“They wanted me to sign for five years. I might not be able to move the way I did in my prime, and I figured if I wanted to do an action movie the way I wanted to, the time is now.”

Morrison would also reveal that he was trying to heal up from a neck injury that happened in early of 2011. The injuries that he was dealing with were also factors as to why he left WWE.

He will be one of the headlining acts on the Lucha Underground show that will be on the El Rey Network.

Thought the Melina firing would play a factor in that too

Did I already miss the x division 3 way?

yes

I like Live Audio Wrestling. And I have the new book, didn't read the old one. Someone here did a review on it. They recommended it.

Talk is Jericho can be really good. Listen to his interviews with Triple H, Batista, Chavo (really), and Asa Akira (porn actress).

Jericho's two books are also pretty entertaining. Third one is out soon too.

Wrestling podcast you already covered with Austin and JR. I wish who slamming who was still a thing :(. I miss crazy Cornette.

As far as gaming podcast are concern....there's giantbomb which is a given and retronaunts for old school gaming love. It's been a minute since I heard a gaming podcast but those two came to mind.

I haven't kept up with gaming past the PS2 and Wii, so retronauts might be up my alley. Thanks.

They've been building to Sanada vs Muta one on one on TNA tv, but they will have the match on a Wrestle 1 show....How does that make sense?

This is a weird main event. They should have just had Muta vs sanada in a epic 30 minute match to the finish...but no we got a tag team match :/.

Classic TNA. Their "biggest" show of the year is headlined by a guy who was huge 30 years ago, a guy who had a mediocre run in the WWE, a guy they failed to push and people stopped caring about years ago, and a guy that's clearly not ready to be main eventing.

Why isn't the title being defending on this PPV? Could Bobby Roode not make it to Japan?

He is the champ now right? It's hard to keep up with lately.

TNA clearly gave up. Booking on tv had nothing to do with this ppv and as far as I know matches weren't even announced until days before it. I turned it off.

I know taijiri is meh but leave muta out of this. Probably the only "old guy" that I don't mind going over anybody.

Regardless though this match was meh to begin with :/

Lashley is the champ as far as I know by reading results.

interview with Roode said:
Mike Chiari: TNA’s biggest pay-per-view, Bound For Glory, is going to take place on Oct. 12 in Japan. There’s a lot of intrigue surrounding the event now that TNA has announced the card, but your name is conspicuous by its absence. Can fans expect to see you added to the card? And if not, is there any disappointment on your end that you’re not part of it?

Bobby Roode: There’s negatives and positives to this year’s Bound for Glory. Obviously it’s disappointing that I'm not going to be there and be a part of it. I've been a part of every single Bound for Glory that's there has been with this company. I think the very first Bound for Glory, Eric Young and I were defeated for the tag team titles by 3 Live Crew. It’s a lot disappointing not being on the card. I love Japan and performing in Japan and just being a part of Bound for Glory. The positive part of it is we are taking Bound for Glory to Japan and taking it internationally and giving the fans in Japan a chance to take in and be a part of Bound for Glory. To work alongside Wrestle One which is a great partnership for our company. I think at this point, Bound for Glory is going to be a showcase of TNA talent and Wrestle One talent and it’s going to be a hell of a show.

So basically TNA being idiots not having him on the show.

I like Muta and I don't care that he's going over. This just shouldn't have actually been the main event.

True...this whole ppv just been a clusterfuck to begin with. They gave the booking decisions to Wrestle 1 which led to all of these random ass matches. I wouldn't be surprised if this was sort of a talent sign off to get some of tna wrestlers before they closed down the company.

I just want to meet the geniuses that's running that company so I can stare at them like a work of art.

It's amazing how some indy feds book excellent shows over a medium to big size company that constantly making idiotic decisions like darkening up the arena despite the fact they had a FULL HOUSE.

I though Roode beat him and won the belt a few impacts ago...unless I missed out on a future result.

TNA thought Velvet sky could put on a good match with Havoc instead of giving Gail Kim one last shot at the belt :/

I'm getting grey hairs just pondering the ideas this company cooks up.
