I hate myself for watching this show again, as I have not watched reality TV since 2002. Oh well. Anyway, I know who won HOH (NO I don't subscribe to the live feeds, I browsed through a forum).

So uh, consider this thread discussion for the show. If this thread lasts.

I am trying to DL the UK Big Brother... I wanna see how much more raunchy it is, lol. Going slow as hell though.

I watch...I don't know who one HOH yet though so don't spoil me(way to go guys, have a duration HOH challenge on a live show day).

Yeah, I'm a fan of Big Brother and Amazing Race.

I do have the live feeds, and I hate to admit it but I watched all last night. I'm not obsessed with the show, but I'm always fascinated by endurance challenges. I love to see people put through agony.

Anyway, about last night:

Jase, the fool, had used his boot as a toilet during the first hour, so he was standing there in his bare feet. After 7 hours, the Big Brother Voice informed Jase and Diane that they had to "keep both feet firmly planted on the platform". Jase did a good job of not lifting his feet up. But, he did slide them all around that bitch, and his heels came off several times. This went on for over two hours. Finally, the cameras zoomed in on the edge of Jase's platform, and the next time his heel edged off just an inch, they buzzed him. The voice told him to be still, and to look at his foot.

Diane looked down, and before Jase could even voice his own objection, she said "But he's been doing that all night!" I don't think she was trying to save Jase. I think she was just pissed it took them so long to disqualify him for it.

Jase stormed off the platform, screaming about it being a bullshit technicality. Even though I hate the vain fucker, I have to agree with him. Both he and Diane still had several hours left in them. The crew behind the scenes just got impatient, I think.

Thanks for filling me in on more details, I just simply knew who won.

I could care less anyway, Jase is an asshole, and Diane better put him and Scott up for eviction.
I can't want for both the twins to enter the house, the houseguests' reactions are gonna be crazy.

Even if it was a wrong call to say he was out, they've dominated enough, it's time for other people to take control for once. Two out of three evicition decisions so far have been heavily infulenced by the four horsemen. It's been more like Jockfest 2004 and not Big Brother 5.

Oh, it was quite obvious that they are hurting for subscribers to their 24/7 feed, I'm sure that's the only reason why they did this. But who the HELL is gonna pay $10 or $25 (depending on what you want) to watch a bunch of people keep their hand on a button for hours?? Haha... I'm sure a lot of people were suckered into it, but I sure wasn't :p

Assuming Adria stays in the house next week, what night will the they both be allowed to play together? Anyone know?

Haha, remember when Marvin had to take a leak after the live eviction? They usually never take the camera back there but Jase was all upset so they followed him. And here comes Marvin running down the hall and into the bathroom. Friggin' hilarious.

Yeah, I understand why you have no sympathy. My thing is, though, Diane was kicking his ass. She was like a fucking Terminator up there. It was funny to see Jase trying to bargain, intimidate, and annoy his way to victory. I think she would have won either way, but now Jase blame it on a conspiracy.

Diane got a lot of respect last night, and mostly from the boys of the house.

EDIT: Marvin ran back to use the bathroon because I think he suspected an endurance challenge. He's smarter than people give him credit for.

As for Adria and Nat, they get to play together come next Thursday.

Oh great, so the horsemen are kissing her ass. Who do you think Diane is going to put up for eviction? I'm thinking Jase and Scott like I said before.

The look on Marvin's face and the way he was trying to stay calm while running just cracked me up though.

The funniest moments of the endurance challenge were also Marvin's.

1. Adria was set up just in front of him, so he was staring at her backside. He said, "Of course they'd put the brother behind big booty girl." Adria responded by rolling and shaking her ass for the next half hour. He commented that after he was through with her, her husband would never fit again.

2. Marvin suffered from severe arm cramps and finally gave out. The others said they were worried about him, because he was grunting and scowling in obvious pain. He said, "Yeah, you saw my fuck faces there for an hour."

Is it true that in US BB the viewers dont get to vote people out? I thought that was the whole (money making) point of Big Brother.

I'm not sure when they stopped doing that. I've only seen seasons 1, 4, and 5. Season 1, home viewers got to vote the houseguests out.

BTW I think they stopped letting US viewers call to vote people off after BB1. What is the point of having Head of Household on other Big Brothers if the viewers decide? Or is there no HOH?

Also, did the Big Brother idea come from one company or person? Or is it an idea that networks like to try to make their own? In other words does the same company own BB in the US, UK, Sweeden and Australia?

To really enjoy UK BB, you have to watch from the beggining, all the good characters have been voted off, all thats left are the nice guys. Boring to watch.


Only a week left anyway, everythings slowing down. No more arguments, fights and nudity.

Yeah, I've been watching it. Strange because I haven't really watched it since halfway through Big Brother 2. For some reason, I really like this season, though, and I'm hooked on it.

Ha, I downloaded two UK BB5 episodes. I just watched the one where they kicked out Victor... man, yours is SO much better. You get to call in and vote the evicted houseguests out! I like that idea. US BB5 is so pussified compared to this. Not to say it's bad, but man. Julie Chen should be ashamed of herself for doing such a bad job hosting. And why the hell isn't there an audience on the US show like there is for the UK? Lame.

What episode should I look for if I want excessive swearing and nudity? I wanna see!!

UK TV >> US TV... the only word they censored was "cunt", heh. And the house looks a lot more stylish than the US one.

I gotta see a BB5 episode from each country... I love bit torrent :D

The audience calling thing is crap, and that's why they got rid of it. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring in BB1 that I can't blame them for changing formats. This is way more interesting. It was stupid how pretty much they all got along and didn't have any ill will towards anyoen cuz it was always out of their hands anyway. Thus everything was all luvvy duvvy.

What were they fighting about? Not to sound like a jerk, but it's hard enough to decipher one strong british accent, so when the whole house is yelling I have no idea what the hell they're really saying except for swear words :D

Holy crap, Victor has a temper. Funny how he looks like Mr. Nice Guy after he gets evicted and everything. Damn.

Two of the housemates they thought were evicted were sent to another room of the house where they could watch the other housemates talking about them and stuff, so when they rejoined the house it all kicked off, it was great!

Last week to go of BB UK, looks like Nadia, a transexual will win! Big Bro UK has been great for winners!

BB1 = a man won
BB2 = a gay guy won
BB3 = a girl won
BB4 = a virgin won
BB5 = looks like a transexual will win!
BB6 = lesbian/minority group winner?

The winners are getting more and more extrovert, except for cameron (the virgin) who was a total homophobe, but Endemol didnt show any of that on the highlight shows so he won, this year he would have been the first person out. I think this year the British public, in their infitite 'wisdom' have voted out all the people who actually would have made good winners (namely Victor or Emma & Marco if you like the stupid thing) and Nadia will win now thanks to the huge "Oh 'Her' life has been so hard" pity party. Having said that she is the only person left in there who has been even a little bit entertaining (bar shell for the nudity)

BB5 US viewers, who do you think will win?

I'm thinking either Will, Diane or Adria. Especially Adria, because when her sister comes into the house they'll be the biggest threat in BB US history perhaps :D She has everyone where she wants them except for maybe Jase and Scott, so when there's TWO of her... haha. Things will get crazy.

It's hard to say because it all comes down to challenges and vetos. This week, Diana won, which immediately put the 4 horseman, and even Marvin, in threat. Had Jase won, that would have completely changed the dynamic.

As for who i hope wins, i hope either Adria/Natalie, or Drew, and 3rd pick I guess Nacomis. I damn sure don't want Scott or Jase to win, I don't want Cowboy to win because he's a punk and a sheep, I don't want Karen(is that her name...the one who's husband is named Larry) to win because she really doesn't do much. The rest, i guess i'm indifferent to at this point.

Tonight was probably the best Big Brother I've ever seen (I've only watched BB3 and this season). Scott got kicked out (YES), the twin twist was revealed to the house, and Nakomis won HOH. The remaining three horsemen are screwed, obviously. She should put up Jase and Michael.

Great, great episode.

Eh your show is kind of stupid, I enjoy the US one much better. At first I was like "wow UK BB is so much better", but after getting over the controversy it's surprisingly worse. Well, I dunno, I take that back. Some things are done better on the US BB than the UK BB and vice-versa. Evictions are much, much better on the UK show.

Yeah tonight was great...oh, did anyone catch that Julie didn't catch that Natalie also got the question about the bowls wrong? I guess because Nat was way on the end, but still, Julie should have saw that she got it wrong....not that it mattered for long, Natalie got the next question wrong.

The look on Jase's face was great...not only did they lose a member of the horsemen, but now the other side has another vote...though this week has shown that Adria can be a swing vote. At any rate, with Nakomis(who is pretty smart about the goings on of the house) as HOH now, the horsemen are screwed. And who knows, Will could just win this :p, but still, a transsexual would be more progressive than a gay man...US blows.

That makes me wonder though, would BB ever feature a disabled contestant? Imagine a blind person? I think that would be pretty interesting to have a contestant wouldn't be able to judge people by their looks.

BTW I like the idea that BB US is a mix of game/reality.

Geez, we can stop fighting about Big Brother in different countries. Each show has its good and bad points, let's just agree that the series overall is genius. Each one is cool in its own way.

And this is coming from someone that hates reality TV. Big Brother is the only reality show I enjoy. That and old seasons of the Real World (like, the London cast from almost when, ten years ago :p)
