Nothing. I'm just not impressed with politicians who rely on empty, sentimental rhetoric.

You're impressed with politicians who change from week to week, both politically and characteristically?

Which is better I think. It's better to go after current opponents than after someone you're not going to be running against.
I don't think so. Not with so many people in the middle. Especially with McCain.

What's wrong with going after Bush?

Even the Republican's last night didn't wanna be associated with him.

It's a Democratic Primary, attacking this clusterfuck of an administration should be natural.

it takes a bush to fix a bush.

or something along those lines.
It was something along the lines of "It took a Clinton last time to clean up the mess made by a Bush..."

Wow. Obama is not very convincing/impressive when he's thinking on the fly. Interesting. Quite a bit of stuttering and stammering.

I still liked what he had to say more than Clinton.

Do you think Einstein was a smooth talker when described the Law of Relativity?

Oh, come on! /Gob

Of course not. I applaud Obama for being against the war from the start. But I'm more interested in current substance

And wtf @ the constant mischaracterization of McCain's "100 years" comment.

I think Hillary seems more genuine in this debate than in those previous. So far I think she has the slight edge in this debate, though neither have hurt their chances.

Need more Anderson Cooper, though, and farrrr less Wolf.

I don't understand how she speaks out of one side of her mouth and blames the Bush administration when she voted for the war in the first place!?
She just answered your question, very well too. :/

She was for the war before she was against the war?

I would much rather have a President who can change their mind when a situation changes rather than blindly moving forward when something isn't working.

Republicans like Obama. They dislike Hillary.

you're joking, right? that whole line from Hillary that essentially said 'vote for me because of Bill's presidency, but i'm my own leader!' was pure silliness and completely incongruent.

I would rather have a President that makes intelligent decisions over popular ones.

i'll say this again, in bold - the surge is not working because its original goal is simply unmet!

the surge was meant to bring about breathing room for political reconciliation. that hasn't happened, it likely won't happen, and now we're at a complete stasis.

How can one make intelligent decisions when one is presented with inaccurate Intelligence (e.g. bogus reports of WMD, etc)?

She was in the White House for 8 years so she had plenty of time to make an educated decision, she made the wrong one, she can't say "what I know now what I didn't know then" and get away with it, someone needs to call her on that...

Well I know that can't be true, cause you seem to be siding up with Hillary in this thread. I'm all for Obama personally, but you gotta be full of hot air yourself if you think one is more sincere than the other. The only politicians that don't give lip service during these debates are the nuts like Kucinich and Paul.

There's Wolf calling her out on that.:lol

thats a bad thing?

its a bad thing when you're running against someone who had the sense to never support the plan in the first place.

remember, this is a question about Judgement, not remorse.

I think PD said he hated the Obama meme on GAF, so it is inhibiting his thought processes.
