We'll see Limedust. I am not optimistic at all.

Auburn is rolling over State, I thought the Bullies would put up more of a fight.

The Gators should be coming back from the lightning delay at roughly 3:15pm EST. I think I heard that the players were taking the field for a short warm up time.

Damn 5 turnovers for Nebraska. I bet Frank Solich is chuckling quietly to himself somewhere.

Henne needs to look for Avant and Breaston a little more. He's locked on Edwards....and Michigan's playcallers needto quit calling 5 yard routes when they need 8. It looks like Ron Turner is calling their plays.

Wow, Michigan is trying hard to get ND ranked again. :( Why God? Why? I hate the Irish. :x Oh, and I missed both the Fins and Gators today. Ugh, been waiting all week for today too. PEACE.

lloyd Carr's cowardice loses another big game.

All the douche bag Michigan fans(I hate 95% of my fellow Michigan fans) are already turning poor Henne. The kid has had shitty plays called all day, bad protection, and no run game. Its been their veterans and coaches who have screwed things up.

That Fresno St. score is amazing.

What's with Indiana leading Oregon?

Man, ND was on today. That wasn't the same team that lost to BYU last week.

Can SC hold of Georgia?

Is anyone else pulling for Utah to go undefeated and make the BCS as a non-BCS school? They have a tough game against Arizona today.

Rodgers Arrington and Lyman have been amazing for cal today.
and the backupbackup rb williams just scored another TD.
41-7 Bears with 13:25 left in the 4th

I will be angered if my coach is not fired at the end of the season, no matter how the rest of the season goes. If we go 11-1 and win a bowl game, I don't care. HE HAS TO GO! HIS PLAYCALLING SUCKS, HE'S AN IDIOT WHOSE ONLY REDEEMING QUALITY IS HIS ABILITY TO RECRUIT. I don't care who we get as a replacement, even the fucking waterboy would do a better job.

This is the second loss to an I-AA team that I have had to endure during my 4 years here on the banks.

Ruck Futgers.

Sorry Michigan State, that loss is going to damage your bid for a bowl game. I'll be in the bathroom puking.

21-0 Bama now, things looking good.

And it looks like they might have benched Ole Miss QB

That was a pretty good game except for Leinart scrambling around like a crazed bastard and almost getting himself messed up a few times. Dude, you're not Mike Vick, stop it before you hurt yourself. Bush & White look good, except for that goofy post TD celebration thing they've started doing. Looks like one of those annoying celebration animations from NCAA 2005. Just stop it.

Has TBS ever shown a good football game? Every game they show ends up being the Big 12 blowout of the week. They must get killer ratings for that stuff.

Pretty good day of football, though. Lots of fun games and this Texas / Arkansas game is still rolling.

Seriously. 21-24 Clemson up and with the ball. 1st and 10, 9.something yd run by the QB. 2nd and inches, Clemson doesn't convert. 3rd and inches, Clemson doesn't convert. Then, on 4th and inches, the long snapper fucks up the snap, and it rolles to the Clemson 8-yd line. 0:16 left, GA Tech has AT LEAST two shots in the endzone before kicking a field goal and going into OT. First play, lob pass to #21 (man I forgot his name! :lol I think it was Johnson). Caught, TD, GA Tech wins the game.

wait, I thought GT was just at that side of the field. Your telling me the ball made it all the way down there on a bad snap???? Holy shitsies!

Clemson was on thier own side of the field. When you score, your in the other team's territory.

ah, so you didn't say they were going for the punt when doing so on 4th. I thought they were going for their own FG.

Oh yeah, sorry about that. I said long snapper, but forgot to say it was a punt.

The Georgia Tech-Clemson game had to be the game of the week. Those schools will be talking about that game for years. Looks like the ACC is going to be pretty thrilling this year.

Well, just got back from a night out, and unfortunately I didn't really get to see any of the games this evening. Looks like I missed an exciting night of football.

Glad to see Alabama won. In reading the recaps, it sounds like we had the kind of evening I hoped we would, and I was glad to hear that we sat on the ball at the end of the game when scoring wasn't necessary. Time to plaster Western Carolina, and ignore Arkansas until that has happened.

Sorry to hear how both the Gamecocks and Razorbacks lost their games. I wanted both teams to win. I had also hoped that maybe MSU would keep the score a little closer if they had to lose to Auburn.

Wow, this guy is simply amazing. I've been following his playing mostly since last year when he helped decimate opponents, including a 49-point first-half shutout of my school, A&M, last year :(, although I'd noticied him since he crucially stepped up against Texas in the 2001 14-3 win when Nate Hybl got injured.

He's been injured over and over, but he's very resiliant and is back for more this year. A very brave and very capabable guy. It's too bad OU lost against Kansas State and LSU last year, it kinda tainted some people's perception (BTW, I'm a big Kansas State fan too, but I don't really like LSU).

He's very healthy this year and the OU offensive line as always is going to do a great job protecting him. Today's game against Houston had OU really go the route of rushing, but I'm sure White will get his chance to obliterate opponents through the air at some point.

Can't wait to see OU and White go through the season and hopefully get a National Championship. This year's team has a lot of stars and talent, and Bob Stoops is a great coach. After last years fiasco at the end of the season, I'm sure they won't be taking anything for granted.

I doubt he'll be considered for Heisman because he already won last year and isn't really the star on a talent-laden OU team, but he's still one of the most solid players in college football, and easily my favorite player in the Big 12 and College Football this year.

a little ballet:

definitely deserving last year:

I'll finally have a chance to see him play this year when OU plays against A&M at Kyle Field. Last year, seeing Rashuan Woods and Josh Fields (from Oklahoma State) was the highlight of what I looked foward to in football games (not an exciting home schedule for A&M), but this year, I'm really looking foward to the OU game, and that's in the face of awesome games like Clemson, Kansas State, and Texas Tech coming up.

I was at the A&M-OU game two years ago when we upset them 30-26 (first time A&M beat a #1 ranked team in school history), and I'm sure RC Slocum, A&M's former coach, was appreciative of the fact that OU didn't have White in that game. With him on the team last year, the result wasn't pretty, and it's going to be very interesting what A&M's defense tries this year against his pass attempts. I assume we'll get roasted pretty bad, but at least it'll be fun to see Bob Stoops, Jason White, and the rest of the Sooners play.

They are my pick for National Champions this year.

OU is my pick for National Champs this year too, but White isn't the second coming by any means.

Sure he posts big numbers, but unlike Eli Manning last year, when the times get tough in games he makes mistakes and has trouble shaking it off and moving on.

But I do agree he's probably one of the best in college right now at the QB position, at least as far as teams in the top 20 are concerned.

I'm kind of suprised to see Clemson still ranked in the top 25 after a 2OT win over Wake Forest, and then the loss to GT (both were home games, I believe). There are certainly tougher games on their schedule ahead.

I just got back from the Clemson and I'm still in shock. Tech didn't win that game, we lost it. Terrible coaching at the end of the game along with a punter with no common sense helped that. Yeah, the long snapper fucked up and yeah I hope he's not suiting up next week, but how stupid do you have to be to not kick the ball out of the back of the endzone, take the safety, and hope the defense holds them for 20 seconds(with no timeouts) on the next drive. Either way, we have a good shot at 5 or 6 losses, and I'm just sick and tired of Tommy Bowden's inconsitent coaching. Half our problems stem from him not motivating our players. If we don't finish in the top 3 in the ACC, I'll be calling for his head, again.

I don't think I've ever been this excited for an ACC season, much less a UVA season. For the past few years, I've tempered my expectations because they've failed to deliver once the season rolled around. They haven't played any good teams yet, but hell, they've blown out everyone they've played. I'm excited for the VT/UVA game to actually matter as far as ACC rankings this year, that will be interesting.

I guess, as the best university in VA, it's only fitting that UVA has the best football team in VA as well.

I was at the game too, on the GT Side way up at the top :D

Unbelievable game. Especially when you consider I was also at the GT/Clemson game four years ago that GT won with 7 seconds left. As a visitor I have witnessed 80,000 fans go into shock twice! Both times surrounded by a little pocket of Tech fans who make it sound just as loud as if the Clemson fans were cheering us. Priceless :D

Seeing as how my season tickets are right above the visiting team's band, I can see how you'd think the visiting section can get as loud as the rest of the stadium. You guys can get loud. However, anywhere else in the stadium it's damn near impossible to even hear the visiting section. Ask Wake Forest how hard it was to score in the second overtime last week when they were facing the hill.
