Can't wait for A&M-Clemson game. I got great seats in the 1st deck.

Seeing Tommy Bowden and his team is gonna be fun, even if Clemson isn't as stellar as first thought.

What sucks is that the ACC re-alignment meant that Florida State canceled are series with them that was to take place in 05 and 06, with next year them having to play us at Kyle Field (A&M's home turf). :/

If Charlie Whitehurst can remember he's Charlie Whitehurst and not Chris Rix, you'll get a good game. Plus you can always count on Leroy Hill to terrorize your quarterback.

Clemson favored 3 1/2 over Texas A&M
Hawaii favored by 3 1/2 over Rice
Notre Dame favored 4 1/2 over Michigan State
Ohio State favored 4 1/2 over North Carolina State
Texas Tech favored 3 1/2 TCU

I chose all the favorites in my pick'em thing. :D

Anyone care to tell me why or why not I should have picked what I did?

I would've picked NC State over Ohio State and maybe MSU over Notre Dame. Other than that it looks good to me.

The LSU/Auburn game seems to be back on, which seems quite a bit unfair to me.

Auburn couldn't practice the last 2 days while LSU could, then again Auburn is dying to get revenge on LSU for the whooping they got last year.

Auburns team is based around running and the field is Absolutely SOAKED and drenched in water thanks to Ivan, so at least this will hugely favor Auburns style.

Should end up being a good game considering all the crap that led up to it.

It's on TV today at 2:30 central time.

Go Tigers!!

Oregon @ Oklahoma: 0-10 at the half.

Very sluggish game so far, good defense on both teams. Heat index here over 100, so that could be effecting play.

Yeah, this game is crazy. It's like strange karma for LSU to be trailing because of a missed extra point after that Oregon State game. Still time on the clock, though.

OK, out of the way LSU, Gators are on the move. :D We better put a whoopin on Rocky Top tonight. I hate the Vols. LSU losing would be nice. PEACE.

EDIT: And LSU is on its way down the charts. :D

It doesn't even matter if you have the National Champion in the division... if there's one constant in this world, it's that the SEC West is WIDE OPEN

OSU missed that pat because of inside pressure, stop fooling yourself, if you think LSU doesn't get extremely good penetration on fieldgoals you haven't been watching very closely.

LSU lost for the same reason I gave up my season tickets, instability at the QB position.

Eric Randall played 80% of the game and was in at QB every 3 downs and out but 1, the guy's a proven loser, and unfortunately Russell won't be bad ass and the main guy till next year.

BTW: I knew LSU would lose 1 or 2, but not this early, I figured they'd drop games to Georgia and Florida.

Will the Big East lose its BCS bid after this year? They clearly don't deserve one. WVU is overrated and I can't wait for them to fail...please fail. I'm not sure their schedule has any major obstacles. :( Oh yeah, when's Ohio State's luck gonna run out? Ugh, I can't believe they haven't gone down yet. PEACE.

the Big East is pinning all hopes on WVU...the couch burning hillbillies biggest games were at MD and now all they have left is VT...let's go Hokies :)

Kicking this season has been insane... we had an excellent shot at knocking off Georgia if not for a missed PAT and chip shot FG.

Watching college football this season makes me wish I could go back in time and start training to kick field goals before high school. I WANT TO HELP :(

Now it's time for the Gamecock second-team offense versus South Florida. Let's see how our backup QB and RB do.

The luck will never run out! NEVER!

Although Wisconsin does look tough.

Zook! Zook! Zook! Zook! Zook! Zook! :D

This is his first test this season. Spurrier won a lot of big SEC games. Zook hasn't convinced me yet. Hope we clean house tonight. :D :D :D

Oh yeah, isn't Notre Dame rumored to be joining the Big East? I can't see that program saving them. ND hasn't exactly been big news lately. It'll help them though. Miami feasted on those powderpuff teams with their weaksauce schedule. Notre Dame could post some big seasons and use that to build the program back up. It's not like they have a really impressive schedule this year either. PEACE.

LSU is the first top 5 team team to get burned, but they won't be the last. Georgia is looking anxious to join them right now.

That's funny - MSU scores on a kick return while Willingham was in the locker room taking a piss or something. That's got to be embarassing... watch Sportscenter run that clip a hundred times over the next 24 hours.

WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH EXTRA POINTS

Now Tennessee misses the tying extra point with 3 minutes left in the game. The guy made something like fifty in a row before that.

GEEEEEEEZ

edit: That personal foul on Florida was HORRIBLE. THE SIDE JUDGE WAS WATCHING WHEN THE TENNESSEE PLAYER TOOK THE FIRST SWING. SCREW YOU SEC REFS

UNC rebounds from loss against Virginia to rout Georgia Tech, 34-13! J. Lew with 156 yds on 15 att and 2 TDs!

edit: Wow, 50 yd field goal by the Vols to beat the Gators. Vols must've been lucky as hell to win after missing the PAT that would've tied it (didn't watch game so I don't know what happened or if there was some sort of catalyst to the field goal).

UT player takes a swipe at a UF player and hits him upside the head... the UF player retaliates in the same exact way. They say "you never see the first one", but THE SIDE JUDGE IS CLEARLY WATCHING THE ENTIRE THING. He calls a 15 yard personal foul on UF, they punt from 15 yards back... UT moves the ball up to the UF 35 and kicks a 50-yarder for the victory.

Who the hell was the side judge, Earl Hebner?!
