Wow, that's the final reward for keys?

I was making about $100k per day, and my system has been away thanks to RRoD for a couple of weeks. When I turn it on I'll be even more crazy rich than I was before. So that's not exactly a big reward...

Yeah I get around 20k every 'in game pay cycle'. Definitely dont need money.

Does anyone have all of the Hero dolls, me and a couple of friends have been trying to get that achievement, but we suck to much at it, can someone who has all the dolls hook me up?

I'd really appreciate it.

didnt you say your wife was stuck to the wall. is that lady grey? I just got her and fairfax castle I'm afraid it'll happen to me

I only used 2, inferno and raise dead

Raise Dead and Time Control is the ultimate combo. You'll never get hit.

That sucks.
I thought the Gargoyle prize was crappy...
the legendary weapons in general aren't that great (most are worse than the master weapons) but i wasn't getting all the keys or killing all the gargoyles for the prize i was doing it because i love fable 2 and exploring the world

though a bad ass prize would have been nice

I have Theresa, Hammer and Reaver. I'm lookin for a Garth. I do have like 4 Theresas.

Question: Where can I find Lady Grey? I think she's the one for me seeing as she's already dead so the impetus to kill her is somewhat diminished. Does she return to the mansion? Is she wondering about town, the pasty trollop? I want to marry me a corpse bride.

Dude how did you get the cemetary mansion?
I thought you had to do the love hurts quest first? In that quest the dude that lives in the cemetary mansion makes you go get the the 3 body parts of lady grey. that's how she comes to life

I still think the hottest chicks in the game are the brunette whores

Is it just me or is the legendary rising sun awesome?

It seems to inflict a lot more than 71 damage

Love Hurts Quest:
So I collected the three Lady Grey parts for Gothy McTopHat and he puts the broad back together. I was quite surprised! She was WAY less good looking when she was in severed pieces. So I was like 'hubba hubba' and Gothy started crying that I have to leave otherwise Lady Grey would fall in love with me instead of him.

It was like I was back in High School! So I stuck around thinking that I'm the only bad enough dude to shack up with Lady Vanilla Tits and sure enough, she loves me and Gothy runs off to write some poetry about it. The 'Examine Property' page appears at the front of the mansion but I didn't have the cake to buy it at the time. I did it later but now I can't find my girl.

So I stumbled into the dungeon that held the legendary katana Daichi.

To my delight is seems WAY better than my master katana with two augments. The Daichi is triple augmented, the base damage is 20 points higher, and it seems faster too.

Some people said the legendary weapons aren't as powerful as store bought ones but that is not the case with this baby.

Yeah, I'm using this and the Red Dragon. The Daichi is IMO the best weapon in the game by far.

Love the Red Dragon's speed, it's like...an overclocked clockwork pistol. (see what i did there hur hur)

I need a hook up as well. All I have is Reaver.

Let me see if my friends and I can come up with a Garth doll. If we can get a hold of one, I'll trade it to you then when you get the achievement can you trade them to me and I'll give them to my friends?

I'll pass it along to you if Chris hooks me up.

Awesome. I really appreciate it.

I never see any talk of the enforcer when people go on about legendary weapons. I use a daichi/enforcer combo and nearly never have to take the sword out because, with a few rare exceptions, the enforcer kills enemies with a single shot.

Why doesn't it get any love? It's got like double the killing power of the next strongest weapon in the game.

Yeah let me talk to my buddy too. I only have Reaver that is mine but he lent me his Hammer and 3 Theresas.

If you can maybe just trust me lol and I can get the Garth. Then my buddy can join my game and get the achievement. And then I can just give you all the dolls and you can keep them. We have a lot of money (I'm holding 5 million for him atm) so we just want the achievement.

He started a new game so I'm holding all his shit for him but he told me that I should look for a Garth

Edit---sent you a FR

I trust you. I'll try to get a hold of a Garth doll, but if you find one before me just shoot me an XBL message. My gamertag is "the snack", without quotes.

I used a blunderbuss for much of the game so it would get love from me.

The Enforcer does the most damage in a single shot but it has a lower rate of fire than another missile weapon of equal calibre, such as the Red Dragon for example. This results in less dps (damage per second) overall.

So it's certainly good but not considered to be the best.

It's disappointing that the combat is so fun but there are no challenges that require you to optimize your weapon collection to any degree. As soon as you get 4 or 5 star in everything (from skills to weapons to augments) the game is over with no epic challenges to do.

Really Lionhead? Really?

I find all 50 keys on my own with no guide and Im rewarded with 50k from the Fairfax chest? Really?

Fuck you!

Ive got countless millions already. REALLY shit decision there.

But you got an ACHIEVEMENT!!! Doesn't that make you feel special?

Still can't beat the shooting challenge. :(
Yea seriously, I tried it for the first time and couldn't beat 120. I think I need a better weapon than a repeating xbow. I've got rank 4 skillz, should be able to friggin lock on to the heads!

Anyways, Knothole Island rocks. Each quest seems to open up individually as you play through the rest of the game, so you definitely don't get to rush through it. And the climate graphics are ridiculously good.

Pistols make the challenge alot easier to beat. Always aim for the head and then linger over the target you just shot for a second to see if it pops back up again. Had one target do four in a row once, easy 12 points. I just try and aim for 60pts each round. The last round is the easiest and a good place to rack up on points.

:lol Just started, pulled this game off my pile of shame and I'm loving it. My heavy drinking, slightly overweight, womanizing, dirt bag who loves his dog character has contracted an STD. What does it even do, does it only make you less attractive and unpure?

It doesn't do anything. My character has 30. :lol

Okay WTF. The 2nd dungeon for Knothole requires you to laugh at a statue. Except... the laugh emote requires 50% good morality? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Yep, I had the same problem. I was playing through Knothole Island with my 100% evil character, and hit the same roadblock.
But then I gave 1,000,000 gold to a random stranger (a rich aristocrat in Fairfax gardens), and VOILA I'm almost 100% good.
So, in the morally ridiculous world of Fable, my countless hours of head-shotting villagers is nullified by giving bank to the already-rich. Huh.

Well I've sacrificed the fucking Bowerstone Town Crier like 8 times already because I hate the mother fucker and he always barges into my house when I wanna play with my kid.

And also apparantly you don't even need the emote, the game lets you fast select it off the d-pad even if you are more evil than sin.

2nd dungeon kinda sucked though.

So I'm currently 100% evil
after having an enjoyable time doing the slaughter Oakfield quest
so how the hell do I get some fashionable horns to start growing? Do I need to lose some purity or something?

Is earning a perfect score in the Crucible and obtaining the
Chopper
an impressive feat, or is it so simple that even a Geico Caveman could do it?

Horns are from corruption. I really like the dual system. I'm renting out every house in the game for free and killing anyone I want. Everyone flees from me and loves me at the same time.

Fable 2 keeps crashing on me. I was in the middle of
seducing the ghost's old gf/wife, when I came across a bandit camp with a slave (another quest). I completed the latter but was still tracking the ghost quest (it unlocked the arena quest). Now the game keeps crashing when I enter Bowerstone Marketplace.
Is this a known problem and can I do anything about it?

bjaelke said:

It's a known problem. The game crashed twice on me last night, even installed to the drive. I've learned to save every 5-10 minutes or else risk losing a huge chunk of playtime.

bjaelke said:
Well this has happend six times in a row now at that specific place. My current save is right before the entrance to the city.

Are you playing online with a Gold account? Try turning the orbs off if so. I've heard that has stopped the crashes for some (as well as installing to the hard drive).

Alright, we got a hold of all the dolls but the Hero Doll and Lucien Doll?

Does anyone have the other dolls, we can make a GAF set and just pass it around.

Right, I bought some Microsoft points, took my hard drive to my friend's house and downloaded the expansion pack (yes, premium). Bringing it home, half the updates haven't work (still stuck with the old dashboard) but all the stuff I bought with the points or downloaded is there. Putting in the Fable II disc and the browsing my quests, there isn't a "Knothole Island" quest or anything. How do I activate it?

Am I being retarded or have I actually been screwed over?

It's tied to the console you bought it on unless you're gamertag is signed into Live.

Well I haven't encountered any lock ups during my whole game + DLC. So no, it's not something that's very common but it does happen sometimes. You can't help it i think, maybe you should check out the lionhead boards :

community.lionhead.com

good luck!

So I just rescued Garth and I can't believe how much the whole
ten years thing affected me. This is one of the few games in which I've actually felt connected to the main character and I felt like crap watching that whole thing play out. And also there was that fuckhead who wanted me to beg and I told him to go to hell and I lost my precious green orbs!

And then once I checked up on my families and as my ugly husband was introducing my kid, a wife strolled over and he freaked out. He stormed out mid-sentance and I never got to meet my child. I felt obliged to put a bullet into his skull before he changed zones.

Not Molyneux's "I'll make you cry" gaurantee, but definitely closer than I ever expected.

Fuck lady grey went crazy on me and divorced me. It's happened to me alot so I usually shoot my wives when they're running away but damn I couldnt kill lady grey! The fucking bitch is impossible to kill. Is there any way to get her back? damn I miss my undead lover lol

Same thing happened to me.
I kicked her undead ass all over town but she wouldn't die.

I'm playing through the game for a third time. I'm finally being as evil as I can possibly be and its a ho-hum experience so far.

Anyway, any update on the dolls?

Someone asked about STDs earlier on, I read that if you have an STD, you can't have children anymore.

Use a clockwork pistol for the shooting range, and always aim for the head. It was way easier using the clockwork pistol because of the short reload time.

Just found all the gargoyles with my gf, now we're trying to find all the keys...9 left
