Uf, i just remembered something - dirty side in Valencia is REALLY dirty. So starting on 2nd, 4th, 6th... will be a major drawback.

That fucking finger!

Haha yeah it`s starting to get at me too! Annoying fingerwagger

Webber doesn`t look too happy during the inter(crotch)view.

Lewis was surprised too still get P3 considering his mistake during last lap

Fingerboy is pretty annoying indeed. Hopefully we won't get to see that finger tomorrow. Lewis and Fonzo looking good for the win tomorrow, given RedBull's reliability and incident-prone drivers.

Its between Vettel & Hamilton for the race tomorrow I think.

Webber is going to lose 2nd as he is starting from the really dirty side of the track and I fancy Hamilton to get the jump on him.

It'll all be about pits and handling traffic tomorrow IMO. No real overtaking outside the first 2 laps.

Also, due to very dirty track (only racing line is clean), overtaking is quite risky.

So, we will see drama in the first two laps and ZzZzzZzZzZz till the end, minus pits.

Let's hope McLaren doesn't lose position in the pits this time around. Would be a nice change of pace for once. My prediction is indeed Vettel from Hamilton from Webber. Maybe Alonso pulls out some hidden cards, but other than that it's going to be a total borefest after the pits.

I hope so. With all the interesting races recently, I miss my mid-race nap. Looking forward to it tomorrow.

i'm so bummed over forgetting the bets.
i bet every time on vettel pole, and now that he did it i forgot to bet :((

at least i got 367 points out of qualiy, not too shabby
Interesting picks all around for people this week. I think I got the strongest driver pairing with Hulk and Petrov. Vitaly is garbage though, and I wouldn't be surprised if he parks is in a wall. I was pleasantly surprised with Hulkenberg.

You did a good job sticking with RBR. I decided to keep the same mixed-pair. PEACE.

Haha, check out what happened in the GP2 race: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgaM8bfkVlQ#t=16s
Someone (Alberto Valero) left the pits with one of those jacks still attached to the rear end. And when it finally flew off, half a lap later, it hit a tv camera.
How on Earth did he A) not have the common sense to stop or B) not realise it was there? Jesus.

I was loving this qualifying just because of the beating Schumacher took. One step closer to retirement, I hope. :D Chuffed about Vettel, too.

heh yeah good job with the Hulk.
spreading with Mcl and RBR is the right thing to do when you are up in front i think. But when trying to catch up i have to take more risks :)

Bild (ok, not the best source, but they are quite good with Mercedes info) reports, that Ross already got technical data for 2011 tyres from Pirelli. All work will be soon shifted into 2011 car, all other talk ("We are still developing this car") will be just Mercedes PR stuff. Also, they want several people from other teams and they are already hunting for new staff.

I thought I had downgraded to RBR for my chassis, that allowed me to get Hulk for a driver. Sometimes, luck matters! My other driver is Di Grassi though, and my bets are not going to pay off after that qualy. Oh well.

Well, 10 minutes to go until the race starts, I don't want to call this one really.

The start will be crucial, with Vettel and Webber be so desperate to avoid an accident that they throw away their grid positions? What about Hamilton and Alonso lurking behind them?

One things for sure, this race doesn't really do overtaking, so unless if we have tyre/pit stop drama, this race may drag on a bit. I'm hoping for a decent race but am prepared to settle in for a bit of drudgery. I hope my pessimism is proved wrong...

Me too, but I doubt it.

Anyone with a reliable lamp for US fans? We're stuck with Fox who will tape-delay and then have zero lead-in for the race. Horrible coverage. I just need a torch for the first 5 laps. Then I can take a nap. :lol PEACE.

First 2 laps is when all the action will happen and that's it.

The only interesting thing will be if Hamilton can get ahead or along side Webber.

I hope you're wrong but fear you're probably right.

Anyway, they are lining up on the grid. Almost time for go.

Vettel doing a very very slow formation lap. Why??
Cool everyone elses tyres and hope he gets a better start?

navanman said:
hamilton nearly had Vettel into first corner.

Edit:
Hamilton has damage from Vettel he says over radio.
Indeed, I hope that hasn't done too much damage.

Webber is screwed, he went from 2nd to 9th in one lap. Schumacher done well, up to 11th. All aboard the Alonso train?

Ah fuck missed the opening hour and first 3 or so laps because I was outside with my little bro and nephew, fucking heat :lol

Did I miss anything big like pit stops or crashes?

I have never had so much trouble with my streams before. Missed the start and the replays. I saw Lewis got a good jump on Webber and then was alongside Vettel when it cut out. It's been a shitty mess since then. I'm thinking of just going to bed now. I've got the dvr set to record Fox's abortion of a broadcast later today. PEACE.

Meh, with Hamilton's car damage there is no way he can challenge Vettel for the win now.
May aswell settle for 2nd and lead the WDC into British GP.

Webber lost 7 places.

Even if he could, what are the odds of getting past? Race is done now, short of fumbled pitstops, or mechanical failures.

How is Petrov so fucking bad in such a good car? If I hadn't gone with him a few weeks ago, I'd have traded him out of my team already. He can't be staying in that seat for too long. Kubica is light years ahead of Petrov on pace. PEACE.

OMG WHAT THE HELL?

That's a HUGE crash, absolutely epic.

navanman said:
OMG Webber has had THE BIGGEST CRASH EVER
Did I just see a F1 car try to take off? that looked so so nasty.

he seems to have moments of speed, but he seems to be terrible in traffic.
