Her hair looks similar to what it looks and animates like in those animated episodes. I think it's awesome personally, and threaded hair was a good stylistic choice given that they wanted to have long, free flowing hair. If there has been a game with better animated long hair, I can't think of it. As I said, just try walking or leave standing at that first screen in the demo, and watch how it's animated. If they can split it into finer threads in the sequel, that's cool, but I think it looks really great already.XHitoshuraX said:

Well I think that was the idea in the beginning, to have uber realistic hair. Then as development went on I believe the assets were used elsewhere.

I set a rule with my wife to help me clear my backlog. I told her that I'm not allowed to buy a game that costs more than $20 unless I finish 3 other games first.
I did pick up 5 awesome games on clearance at TRU this weekend (including the DMC trilogy for $12). Al in all, I spent $55 including tax. All of them were under $20. She asked if that counted and I of course said no. I'm really glad I specifically added that <$20 caveat when I told her about the rule.
I finished DQ8 last night, which is some progress, and I'm gonna try and finish R&C 1 and 2 ASAP. As soon as I do, this is the game I'm picking up. After this set of 3, I think I'm changing my rule to beat 2, buy one and that one is BioShock)
Don't forget, familyvideo.com has HS for $50.

I finally read that old diary posted on Ninja Theories page and, I must admit, that actually has pushed me to buy the game immediately this week. I have my complaints with the demo, but I still think it should be a lot of fun. Hearing what they've gone through to reach this point really makes me want to support them, however, and enjoy what they've created for us.

No idea how worthwhile they are, but it's a good writup that criticizes the game quite a bit actually, giving it the high score because it was overall very impressive experience.
Don't be crazy - play Ico, it's a very short game, but amazing while it lasts, and it was actually quite influential for HS.Doc Evils said:

Heh, I'm still not sure, could be a real life person that they airbrushed manually in post production, to make it look less real intentionally (as it's a video game character).
*edit* The hell.. it's a real person with a real face. No way that's CG, her hair looks completely different in that scene than it does in the rest of the ad.

You seem to counter every negative comment with a positive one, why? If people are not to into the game, why keep trying to persuade them? You also mentioned you have played and beat the game, why would you then go out and buy a retail copy? And lastly why do feel the need to push this game so much?
