GAME UK has the exlusive steel case ( the case is metal, not plastic). I got it for £35

My first impressions:

Wow, one of the most stunning games I have seen on the PS3. At the start of the game 2000+ enemies attack which is fing amazing.

I'm currently at cat & mouse after you finish the arena.

One thing I would like to say is how incredible I found the characters. ALL of them have top notch voice acting and the DETAIL IS CRAZY!

I also like the the stance system, and have mastered the counter attacks.

My minor complaints are the simple puzzles and some minor tearing and frame drops, but it's not enough to ruin the game for me.

I would recommend this game if you want a game that is high in cinema quality presentation, and like the fact that you can break out of certain moves to evade (my biggest complaint of GOW2). Animation is top notch and I find the combat fun since Nariko has various move to make you cringe when she pulls of a nut cracker.:lol

The Sixaxis implemented is quite difficult at first, but once you master it, Kai's mission become fun IMO.


A good buy I think so far, rent it if you are not sure, since you gotta see the acting.

Beautiful game

Going through the first hour, the combat hasnt captured my interest very much yet with the limited moveset. Just dicking around chucking stuff at people and taking slow walks to the next fight for now, hehe.

PS: I love the move where you're in the air after being knocked back, and you use your chains to latch on to the nearest guy and stand on your feet. However it sucks that you have to shake the sixaxis to do this. Just feels weird.

You don't have to do that by shaking the controller, and I don't know why they mapped it that way by default either. Go to options and disable motion sensing use during fights. From then on, use X button to recover from the fall or to initiate aerial combo.

I called them up and asked if they had copies to sell and they said yes we have plenty to sell.I just walked up and asked for a copy and the guy goes "we are only selling to pre-orders".I said how come you didnt tell me on the phone before I walked up and all he could do was say sorry "whoops".I said thanks for f-ing nothing and walked out of the store.Sad thing is ive given them plenty of bussiness over the past year and have never had an issue getting a game without a pre-order from this gamestop.

The skin shaders are ridiculous. I still say this game plays well.

Turn off motion aftertouch, I did and my accuracy went up.
