Well, to be honest I'd hate it if the game made me auto double defenders so what I am saying makes no sense. But there's no option to specifically double team guys, all you can do is keep TEs in to block and even then they just stand there in blocking stance until engaged by a defender, they don't assist.

Maybe next year.

More specifically though, I'd want to be able to help from rushes up the Middle. In Madden 08 the AI had a tough time dealing with rushes through the A-Gap. You could keep a 'back in to block but often times they don't make it over in time to help. Pre-snap, a lot of QBs identify who will be blitzing and who should be blocking them. That'd be a lot of pre-snap adjustment, I agree, but the motto is 'If it's in the game...'. But that wasn't my original point anyway, just a tangential one.

Yeah, I played DT mostly. This would draw that second guy that usually backs up the OT leaving Burgess one on one or with some RB trying to help and getting plowed. I mostly got doubled on runs, though. Wish makes sense...

See, my only problem with that is I would feel bad beating you to a pulp twice a season, when you are controlling what is arguably the finest football franchise in history. I mean, I would hate to make a mockery of a great tradition of football. BTW, where were you raised? Not KC? The only way to make up for that is to be a Royals fan, which is very difficult considering they look like a minor league team playing in the major leagues usually.

Yeah, but he was a shitty RB (I think he was rated like 82, with low 80s speed). It was just easy to own the AI with dump offs to a RB because the AI was retarded compared to Madden.
