Official Madden '10 Xbox 360 Online Franchise: A World Without Favre

And with that, my season is done. Fuck Jason Campbell. Portis goes down in the first half for the rest of the game after averaging 5.7 ypc on 10 carries; I knew the game was over unless Rors would throw the ball. Well, he did, only 8 times in the entire game, most on the last drives when the game was already out of hand. :lol Fuck shitty QBs.

Time to start the rookies. Colt is getting his shot for 3 games. Portis will still get carries to see if I can still get the leading rusher.

LONG LIVE TIM TIBROW!!!

Yeah, seriously. Unless he wants to trade the cowboys for the chargers since it's his team. I'd be cool with that!

But seriously, what did Nightz do to you guys besides fill a need right when we needed it so the transition was smoother? You guys are being a bit harsh.

the thing is imo you have to earn respect in our leagues, much as i have with my hard work and attitude. the cardinals were basically nobodies before i took over, and now through hard work (key theme here you'll notice) i've come to the point where i basically have a 99% chance of winning the division ahead of even madden pros who i respect greatly (bluemax and storybook).

and here this dude comes in and he's basically flaunting his record to everyone else.

my personal opinion but that's b*llshit

Not mentioning FMT was a nice touch too.

But then again, Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are free agents *gulp*
??? What is this free agency you speak of????

Well for the league I need to review how we are doing it

But in real NFL Ricky Williams says hes retiring at the end of the season when his contract is up
And Ronnie Brown is going to be a free agent as well

We aren't doing contracts. After mulling it over, we decided the simplest solution (besides no solution) would be the best way to go since something beyond the lowest common denominator would scare away a lot of folk.

It's in the OP.

AirBrian, when do you want to let me take the lead in the final 2 minutes only to beat me on the last drive?
story, this is a hellish week for me. I won't get out of work until midnight tonight. I might be able to play later in the evening tomorrow, but I'll know better late tomorrow afternoon what time I'll be able to leave. I'll be able to play Saturday though if tomorrow doesn't work out.

:lol didn't even notice that. I have faith that you will turn it around against FMT my man.

So the free agent pool is going to have 96 players after the first season? 64 will be above a 75 and 32 above an 80?

Sounds decent,

Fourth game in a row he has carried the team, fourth game in a row the Giants win! With one more win the playoffs are all but guaranteed.

We both couldn't do anything on offense, rain just slowed everything down.
gg DM.

Frustrating but you still got the picks. So much for getting Sanchez back. The FG return and the INT deep in your territory killed me.

gg dskillz. My offense couldn't get anything going. Despite using the Lions, you showed me some true d-skillz

Heap got injured with a "torn shoulder Labrum" and I feared he was out for the season, but luckily with just 3 games left in it, he's out for exactly 3. Just in time for the playoffs! It'd be nice to have him against Ramirez and Rors, but I dodged a big bullet with that.

GG. I am having a hard time adjusting to Culpepper. His deep ball is garbage and he has absolutely no touch at all. That pick 6 should have been alot higher and drop right into Calvin's hands, but that definitely didn't happen. Atleast my running game got going somewhat.

So fucking tired of this game. 2 Disconnects, one right before half, the other at the start of the 4th quarter. I had 2 long runs, and I don't have many running yards.

Close to just packing it in. Swore I would if it happened again (thinking back on the game against Denver's Owner. 3 Times there, Back to Back to Back.)

First try, I'm leading 7-3 when it cuts. 2nd time, I'm up..34-10 I think. 2 Long runs by a speedy scrub, and a beautiful pump fakeout of a DB on Moss. I mean UTTER BITE, that I wanted to check out in replay after the game :( :(

Could have warned us if they were, FMT :p

Man, Barber was having a monster game on that last disconnect too. 130+ yards before halftime and about to run another one in from the 1 yard line. I guess it evens out since the first disconnect saved me from losing Witten for the year. Just let me know when you want to try again Smokey.

Yeah that sucked. Couldn't even get past the second quarter in any of those games. I was about to score on that last disconnect too. I guess EA didn't want me to win. :lol

win?

if you would've scored I would've had about a minute left and all 3 of my timeouts, and then i would've got the ball back at halftime.

the game was still clearly there for anybody to take.

Easy my friend, it was a joke. Clearly the Cowboys would have choked in the second half and Rivers would have gone all PHIILLIIIIP RIVVERRRSSS. Final score would have been like 100-14

Bills (11-1) W3 - Life must be good when you're on top. I'm just guessing. I wouldn't know. I'll probably never know what it's like to have the highest completion percentage and QB rating. Or the highest turnover differential. Or a TD machine like Lynch... good gawd I have a lot of drafting to do. :( Are you just here to remind us of what we can't have?! I hate you!

[2] (⇧1)
logo_8.png
Chargers (10-2) W3 – Top 3 offense hit a snag 4 weeks ago, but doesn’t look to falter any time soon. Rivers is still the second highest rated quarterback with Gates tearing up the competition and LT had a monster game last week. The division looks to stay firm in the Chargers’ grasp.

[3] (⇧3)
logo_25.png
Ravens (9-3) W2 – The Ravens have taken the lead for the division and triumphed over their biggest rival in the process. The team is 5th best in turnover differential and Ray Rice is capitalizing on redzone opportunities. The only apparent road blocks ahead are the rematch with the Steelers and the scorned Raiders in the last week.

[4] (⇧5)
logo_10.png
Colts (8-4) W3 - The Colts have finally broken away from the rest of the AFC South with the Jags and Titans fighting for second place. With such talented WRs like Joseph Addai (third in receptions league wide) and Dallas Clark (fifth in receptions league wide), it’s no wonder Manning is as reliable as ever with the 4th highest quarterback rating and the second most yards in the entire league. With such a potent offense, there’s no need for defense!

[5] (⇧5)
logo_16.png
Giants (8-4) W3 – The Giants are gaining momentum and look to take over the top spot in the NFC East. There looks to be no stopping Brandon Jacobs and the second best pass rushing team in the league.

[6] (⇧1)
logo_20.png
Packers (8-4) L1 – The Packers have gained the lead spot in the NFC North after beating the falling Vikings. Can they keep up the pace and finish the season on top? They will if Aaron Rodgers and the best pass rushing defense in the league have anything to say about it. Rodgers has been quietly putting up the most yards and third highest rating in the league edging out Peyton Manning in both categories. The pass rush seems to have no equal outside of the Giants and the offense is leading the entire league in offensive yards.

[7] (⇩1)
logo_31.png
Vikings (8-4) L1 – The Vikings have seen a short fall after an outstanding start to the season. They are still ranked as one of the most potent offenses behind AD, who is leading the league in receptions and yards per carry on the ground, but they are stumbling to the finish line.

[8] (⇩7)
logo_11.png
Cowboys (10-2) L2 – The Cowboys have commenced their winter spiral and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. Can the new owner/coach right this ship? The schedule ahead includes some of the hardest games of the year for the boys. Bad time to jump in!

[9] (⇩4)
logo_29.png
Steelers (8-4) L2 – The Steelers have fallen to their division rival and some chump team from the West. They might be able to rebound before the division gets out of reach, but Willie Parker can’t do it alone. Losing Holmes seems to be taking its toll. Roethlisberger and company will have to step up in the coming weeks which include a rematch with the Ravens.

[10] (⇧10)
logo_23.png
Raiders (8-4) W4 - The Raiders have had a decent rebound after going .500 in the middle of the season. Will a good defense be enough to make a run for a WildCard bid? Stay tuned, friends!

[11] (⇩3)
logo_14.png
Falcons (7-5) L1 – Just when the Falcons think they are going to break away from the NFCS pack, they stumble. Coming off a big win against the Bucs, they fall to another division opponent: the Saints. White is still dominating with the second best WR numbers and Turner is still dominating the south as the NFC's second best rusher, but they will need to step up defensively against the Bucs when they face them again in the coming weeks.

[12] (⇧1)
logo_7.png
Cardinals (7-5) W1 – Even the mighty NFC West bows beneath Fitzgerald’s ability. All shall tremble before the receiver leading the entire league in yardage. BEHOLD! The only WR in the top 5 for total receptions (and one of only 2 in the top 10!). Cower, weep, and get ready to console your puny cornerbacks for they shall be shamed! This incredible specimen has lead his team to an unreachable 7-5 record to lead one of the most competitive divisions in all of football!

[13] (⇩3)
logo_6.png
Buccaneers (7-5) W1 - Last time, I said not to call it a comeback and it wasn’t because I was trying to be cute. It’s because it’s not a comeback! The Bucs can’t manage to mount the division lead. After losing to the Falcons, division dominance has escaped the Bucs’ grasp. But fret not, Bucs! The Falcons have lost to the Saints and you get another shot at them in the future. This is like the rock/paper/scissors division! Speaking of rocks, did you know you lead the division in times sacked?
Good ol’ rock DMball. Nothing beats rock DMball.

[14] (⇧2)
logo_13.png
Eagles (7-5) W2 - Let’s face facts: the division is out of your grasp, but a WC spot may be in your future, Eagles! Maybe you should mix it up like putting Vick in as the starting QB and McNabb as the gimmick QB. No one would see it coming!

[15] (⇧4)
logo_22.png
Patriots (7-5) W1 - Well, well, well. The Patriots made a nice comeback there, but that loss might hurt in the playoff race. Can the number 1 defense in yards allowed make a run or will Brady throw the playoffs away? I blame it all on the curse of Walter. It’s like the Bambino curse, but way more potent!

[16] (⇩1)
logo_27.png
Saints (7-5) W2 - If this streak continues, there’s a shot at the playoffs. Unfortunately for you, losing to the Bucs could prove rather costly. Something to think about on your honeymoon!

[17] (⇧9)
logo_1.png
Bears (7-5) W4 – The Bears are on a bit of a run, but I still contend that Jay Cutler should submit to gender testing. I know a diabetic bull dy---*is banned*

[18] (⇩1)
logo_17.png
Jaguars (6-6) W1 – The Jaguars have settled for .500 while the Colts run away with the division. It’ll be a fierce battle for the mootness that is number 2 of the AFC South. Mojo vs CJ, Collins vs Garrard, Gage vs S…you know what, this battle sounds pretty boring to tell you the truth. I’m sorry I brought it up.

[19] (⇧1)
logo_30.png
Titans (6-6) L1 – The Titans have ridden Chris Johnson out of that miserable 3-5 hole they were in. Will they waste one of the best HB runs we’ve seen in a while on a playoff-less .500 plateau run? I say maybe with a chance of possibly!

[20] (⇩6)
logo_26.png
Redskins (5-6-1) L1 – The Redskins were the talk of the town (mostly from the team’s own mouth) not too long ago, but oh how the mighty have fallen. It will be a struggle to break even, let alone win a playoff spot. It’s not too late to start Colt Brennan!

[21] (⇨)
logo_15.png
49ers (5-7) W2 – Somehow, 5-7 leaves hope for the 9ers in the West. Maybe it’s unfounded due to the amazing 7-5 record that the Cardinals hold, but they get a shot at those Cardinals in the upcoming week. The 49ers have abandoned the second best QB in terms of completion percentage for the young, dyslexic, and speedy Nate Davis with hopes that this will be the last noodle they need to compete in the West. The shortbus backfield seems to be working so far for the 49ers…

[22] (⇩4)
logo_18.png
Jets (5-7) L1 – Playoff chances are just out of reach for the Jets, but the progression of their rookie quarterback could be their saving grace for the upcoming season. A good, young quarterback is a high commodity.

[23] (⇩1)
logo_24.png
Rams (4-8) L1 – The Rams have made it a habit to lose in the waning minutes of the game. 4 of their last 5 games have resulted in losses of 4 points or less. May the draft be kind to you, Rams owner!

[24] (⇧1)
logo_5.png
Browns (4-8) L2 – The Browns are hanging in there despite the shoddy defense, but not enough to win games. A defense oriented draft might be the way to go in the AFC North.

[25] (⇩2)
logo_19.png
Lions (4-8) L3 – The Lions have hit a snag due to the injury of their starting quarterback. Now, merely playing spoiler will be a tough task. The Lions hold 3 teams’ playoff hopes in their hands. If the Lions can step up, they can decide the NFC’s fate. REAL WILDCARD, BITCHES!

[26] (⇩14)
logo_28.png
Seahawks (4-8) L4 – I, for one, did not see this coming. When last I saw the chickens, they were at the top of the mighty West. Now, they are at the bottom of the division. Sure, it’s the incredible, inedible West, but it’s still the bottom of the pile! I think it’s time to start thinking about the draft. A studly, young HB perhaps?

[27] (⇧2)
logo_2.png
Bengals (3-9) W2 – Carson went down again?! Good thing you have the reliable JGar and Huggy Bear’s kid! Whoever allowed you to take those two is a saint. A SAAAAINT!

[28] (⇩1)
logo_32.png
Texans (3-9) L8 – If it’s of any consolation, you can clinch at least the 31st spot with one more win. Your future is in your hands! Grasp that motherfucker!

[29] (⇧2)
logo_4.png
Broncos (2-10) W1 – Weeeewwwwwt! A win! Take that, cpu! Suck it forever! Maybe DeSean Jackson will play 3 games next season!

[30] (⇨)
logo_12.png
Dolphins (2-10) L2 – Just keep thinking about those two juicy number one picks. They smell good, don’t they? Mmmm can you taste them? Yeah. Sogood.gif

[31] (⇩3)
logo_9.png
Chiefs (1-10-1) L6 – An unfortunate turn of events and the owner seems to have gone MIA. But fear not! I see a win in your future. That’s right, Nostradamus ain’t got shit on me, motherfuckers!

[32] (⇨)
logo_21.png
Panthers (0-12) L12 – I’d feel bad, but there are so many silver linings to this cloud. First, you don’t have to worry about racking your brain trying to decide on a first round pick. Second, you have the longest active streak of ANY team in the league. Third, you can’t get any lower on this list. It’s all uphill from here, bruh!

Yikes a 12 spot drop.

Too many close games and the luck shifted the other direction. Honestly its been my defense letting me down lately.

If I had a running game I would dominate the NFC West!

Wow.....Big AT played a great game...but I had a ton of bad luck.

I had a kick return td called back due to a holding call...he had 3 td plays that game where his guys bounced off of multiple tacklers.

So it wasn't good...to top it off I'm conceding on defense while he is up 38 to 24 in the 4th. The clock should run out and he calls a fb dive with 2 seconds left in the game to run up the score on me. Thanks buddy! I'll remember this for season 2!
